Anyone used nuk glass bottles and what did u think of them or any nuk bottle in general?

Hi, I don't really know anything about glass Nuk bottles but I'm curious to see what other people have heard and experienced, so I'm stalking.

Also, I wanted to say that I picked out Lifefactory Glass Bottles because they have good reviews. They seem to not shatter--which I think is important.

Yea ive decided to go glass because they are alot better than plastic and mybpast experience with plastic isnt good they smell after a while and stain when in a dishwasher, i aim to breast feed but i also want to be able to pump and bottlefeed if my mom or OH has to look after baby, i do like mam glass bottles too but ny inly issue is the steriliser is only a microwave one and they dont fit my microwave x

I worked at a daycare in the infant room through college, so I have experience with about every bottle out there. I have not used a nuk GLASS, but I assume the design is the same as the plastic. My issue with the nuk is that the nipple collapses often. I also had lots of issues with just air flow in general with those. I have found that the avent, Tommy tippee, and dr. Browns all ventilate well, but the latter two also had some issues with leaking. We will be using avent when we use bottles. Just my two cents worth. Oh, but I don't think they do those in glass. We only ever had one that came through with glass bottles, and I can't remember what the brand was.

If it doesn't bother you to have to pull the bottle out of the baby's mouth regularly to allow the bottle to suck in more air and uncollapse the nipple, then nuk is a decent brand. I never had any issues with that brand leaking, which is good.

I LOVE the glass Joovy Boob bottles if you can get them. I'm all for glass. They seem to clean much easier and they don't hold that icky milk smell even when clean.

I originally though that I wanted to go with glass and even bought some browns. After a while I decided that I liked plastic better just because of the weight of the glass. I also didn't like that one of the glass bottles broke by the time I got home. I use Avent plastic bottles and I like them.

I also use that Playtex Vent Aire. The one thing I don't like about the play text bottle is that the opening of the bottle is really small so it can get messy when dumping powdered formula in there. The Avent has a wide opening so it makes it so much easier.

One thing that you should look at before deciding on a bottle is the shape of the nipple. The Avent has a wide opening and if you need a different level of nipple you have to stick with the expensive Avent brand. If you do with some of the smaller opening bottles you can get a wide variety of brands that will fit so cost may be lower.
