Hello! Today was "O day"! Yesterday I triggered and of course got my "solid smiley" on my clear blue advanced digital OPK. Soo I did at home ICI this morning and will be doing another this evening (12 hours later). So I am beginning my 2ww.... this is going to be the longest 2 weeks EVER! So any ladies want to wait this out with me so we can completely obsess over our symptoms together? :haha: I will update my symptoms at the beginning of the post (here) and throughout as well :) I just want to keep it here as well to keep it all "together"!

Trigger shot January 23rd AM
Positive OPK January 23rd PM!

January 24th-
O day- Pinching/pulling near left AND right ovaries, Cervix high-soft-open, EWCM, at home ICI 1pm
January 25th-
1DPO- Dizzy, "brain fog", headache, very tired (took a three hour nap), vivid dream, very bloated, (sorry TMI) bad gas, very irritable/moody
2DPO- Nothing much really, slightly bloated, Cramping, a lot more energy then yesterday!
3DPO- *Had a dream last night that I was pregnant (like full term haha) and my great-grandmother (who has passed on many many years ago) told me "oh you're having a boy". Hope this is a good sign!!!!* Woke up nauseous  (to early for that symptom, probably in my head, grrr!), headache all day, very irritable (went off on my sister for dropping a plate on the floor when she came over, I feel so terribly about that now!), cramps (not like AF cramps more like a 'heaviness'), bloated, Lower left back pain (really annoying!!), right ovary pinching/pulling, TIRED!, dry CM
4DPO- Entire back aching, "brain fog", very tired! Took a three hour nap, sticky CM
5DPO- Super tired! Took the nap yesterday then still slept 12 hours last night, lower back ache (more towards left side), pinching/pulling left ovary, general heaviness in uterus area, Wet CM
6DPO- Pinching/pulling near left ovary, legs crampy, emotional roller coaster (happy, sad, mad, etc. all day), Lower back pain, TIRED!!
7DPO- "heavy" feeling in uterus/ovary area, Stuffy sinuses and sneezing like crazy, legs feel "heavy" like a very deep soreness in my muscles, horrible taste in my mouth around 4pm (not metallic at all more like a nasty "skunky" taste hahahaha), nauseous (thinking thats just from stress/anxiety of TTC)
8DPO- Boy do I feel like CRAP!! Pinching/pulling near left ovary almost all day, very "tight" feeling in uterus almost like my muscles are contracting, annoying backache (not painful just annoying!), upper legs sore like I worked out (I didn't btw lol), headache starting this evening, THIRSTY, very very thirsty all day can't seem to "drink enough" water, very hungry
9DPO- Can't control myself so I tested this morning :bfn: of course (will test tomorrow!), Tired, THIRSTY, Super migraine this evening, Slight cramping/tightness in uterus, pinching/pulling isn't totally gone but MUCH less frequent, sticky/dry cm (praying implantation was yesterday!!!)
10DPO- :bfn: once again :( tired, multiple headaches today, lower back pain, sharp intense pain on the right side of my head (felt like my inner ear, lasted for 30 minutes), cramps cramps and more cramps, EWCM (please af stay AWAY!!!!), heartburn (even when just drinking water, really weird!), unsure if this is a sign but my female cat has been smelling my belly and rubbing her face against me while purring (I know animals are very sensitive to picking up on pregnancies!), general stomach ache
11DPO- :bfp: with FMU! :yipee: very tired, lower back ache, headache

I am either 4dpo or 5dpo positive OPK January 19.
I will join you in the obsession lmao! I need someone to compare symptoms to! I've been ttc for a while had a chemical pregnancy a year ago. Took a year off 2nd cycle trying this time around.

Have a headache; cervix is very high can barely touch it, sticky but wet and white cm.

Yay, welcome Nicole!! I am so sorry about your chemical pregnancy :(
I hope this will both be the cycle for us and we get our :bfp: !!
I wish I had something to report lol, but nothing really today, just O pain/cramps. Super high cervix and EWCM. Hoping this 2 weeks keeps rolling, but I doubt it lol!!

My friends think I'm crazy for being on forums and checking my cervix etc hahaha

Same lol! Hey, movies and TV make TTC seem like a walk in the park...and um.. No lol it's way more complicated then I could ever have imagined!

1dpo- Im so tired, woke up nauseas (thinking from my trigger shot really), some cramping, (sorry TMI) bad gas, headache

How are you doing today Nicole?!

Lol girl don't be worried about TMI this stuff is all sorta personal haha

I woke up feeling like crap. I think I'm getting sick. Headache, throat hurts, stuffy nose.

My fertility friend says I am 5 dpo I thought I was 6dpo. Oh well

I have some creamy CM which I think is suppose to be a positive sign?? My cervix is so high I can barely touch it. I'm convincing myself I am pregnant lol I need to not get too excited! I know it would be way too early.

I'll wait with you ladies, I'm 1 dpo today! We bd the day of, the day before and 5 days before. Im praying we dtd enough! Weve got a long two weeks ahead of us! Im planning on testing Feb 3rd (10 dpo)

Ladies I have a question ! So normally I seem to get a positive opk on cd 18 and I think I O on 20 . Today I am cd 20 and have bd last night . However I just took a test and got a raging positive . Should I wait until tomorrow up bd hoping I don't miss O or should we tonight but it will only be one day ..... Obviously I don't know when I actually O but I assumed it was 2 days later based on O pain. However I have only gotten BFN so what's the best bet here . Ugh

Welcome ladies!!!

My partner and I bd every other day this whole month until like 3 days ago when my OPK went negative again.

I would bd today; sperm can survive for 3 days.

I have PCOS so basically sometimes I don't ovulate I dunno. Hoping we hit it right!

I read online even when you know you hit it perfect you only have a 20% chance of a :bfp:

SO I'm hoping we all got lucky and hit it this month.

Baby dust!!

Nicole, I think creamy cm is a good sign! I'm not positive but usually cm dries up after O, for me anyway. is Creamy cm after O normal for you? Yeah, everything is pretty personal but you know some woman are more...um.... "sensitive to TMI" than others lol :laugh2: I'm hoping your cm continues to be 'abundant', because I have heard thats a good sign and if your cervix stays high thats definitely a good sign too!

Welcome Hoping and Emi!!

Hopingsomeday, I am 1dpo as well! And the wait is already killing me :laugh2: Like you I feel like this is going to be the longest 2 weeks ever! But I say that every cycle! I am going to TRY to wait to test until Feb 7th, though I highly doubt I will wait it out that long :haha: Hoping we both get our BFP!

Emi, it sounds like you may O a day late! I would definitely say its better to bd more then less! I would definitely bd tonight and tomorrow night if possible!

Yeah Its so hard to wait to test. This is our 3rd month ttc for 1st baby. I have PCOS so it's a challenge but for the most part periods have been more normal than ever the last 6 7 months. Hoping this is the month . I wondered how people on here could wait until after their 1st missed day and now I get it . 3 months and it's pure disappointment every single test. I'm going to try to make it 12 dpo this time . Last time I started at 9 and it felt like forever until AF came . All I can do is pray this works !

I know exactly how you feel, me and dh have been ttc for almost 3 years now :( it can get stressful and upsetting but we are really hoping to get our bfp soon! I am definitely going to wait until 12dpo because I am on Ovidrel to stimulate ovulation and the shot can give a false positive pregnancy test up until 8dpo.. so really I'm "forced" not to test, haha. Which is good because I would honestly probably start testing by 8dpo, which I know is way early!

I have PCOS too; my periods have been regular since I lost weight. Hoping that this is our month!!

I don't know if I do or not lol. My cervix was lower towards the end of the night I am driving myself crazy hahaha

I know all I can do is wait it out. I'm so stuffy I cannot breathe I just took Benadryl apparently it's safe. Hoping I wake up feeling better.

I actually just read something on this forum that talked about how our uterus can actually attack the fertilized egg as a foreign object. It suggested taking Benadryl 3 times a day 4 dpo for 6 days. Several women said they got pregnant that way.

I just might try it lol no harm I suppose? Except I'm a little past the 4 day mark either on day 5 or 6.

Oh wow! I did not know that Nicole! Very interesting, I will definitely be taking Benadryl lol! Anything to give my eggies and the swimmers a chance lol! Im sorry your feeling crappy.. However, I have read numerous things that have said "stuffy nose, sore throat, etc." is a very common early pregnancy symptom! So don't overlook that!! Also, I did more research into cm after ovulation (I get obsessed, haha!) So apparently creamy/milky cm can be an early sign of pregnancy it is caused by the uterus lining thickening to sustain a pregnancy. It can also just be a "normal" symptom of a cycle, but it is a promising sign! I'm just really irritable right now! Im only 1dpo and my anxiety is kicking in, my leg is "bouncing" up and down when I sit, and I'm just googling like crazy! I need to relax because all I can do right now is wait this 2 weeks out and try to relax! Like you my periods were very irregular (maybe 3-4 a year) until I lost a lot of weight! I still need to lose more but now, thank god, my periods are pretty regular! I'm just trying to stay busy.. Doing puzzles, cleaning, walking the dogs... And yet here I am still 1dpo lol! It's torture!!

Girl I KNOW. It's the absolute worse!! I have been off work bc it's been snowing and stuff here; well it snowed for one day and North Carolina shuts down lol

I can't wait to go back Wed. so I can be distracted.

I read the same thing about CM and the stuffy sore throat. I don't wanna get too excited bc honestly there shouldn't be any symptoms this early haha eggie would just be getting ready to implant. I am gonna do the benadryl thing and hope I hit it in time.

https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/trying-to-conceive/257303-benadryl-worth-try.html

that is the article it's interesting. I am glad to have people here to talk to!!

That's awesome you have lost weight too. I spend too much time on line and get scared bc I have read stuff that says you can have a period without ovulating. My good friend is a nurse and she was like UM NO that's ridiculous; your period exists bc you ovulate. SO hopefully she is correct. The internet helps and makes it all worse.

Although I have now just read articles counteracting that article hahaha THE INTERNET. I guess to me it's worth a try for 8 bucks. If it doesn't work then onto the next month?? I dunno I am an over thinker. I may not take 3 pills a day just one at night also it'll help me sleep; at night my anxiety gets going about baby (or lack thereof) ](*,)]

I completely understand Nicole! The internet just is terrible...google is terrible lol! I too am so grateful for this site and to have others in such a similar or even same situation! It makes me feel less crazy :haha:

I can't wait to go back to work as well! Over here we were in a declared state of emergency...and my job was closed today too... grrr... the one time actually want to work hahahahaha!

And its funny you mentioned having your period without ovulating... sadly it is possible :( I know.. shocking and heartbreaking! I asked my fertility doctor about this and what he told me is "The are two stages during a monthly cycle thats the "follicular phase" which starts at CD1 up until when a women O's. During that phase the follicles are 'recruited' and start growing until they are big enough to rupture and release an egg (sounds so wonderful lol)... then the luteal phase is right after O up until the next period starts. During the luteal phase any eggs released are only viable for a maximum of 24 hours! After that progesterone slowly rises (incase an egg is fertilized and implantation occurs) so the uterus thickens. If there is no implantation then the uterus lining is shed and the cycle starts all over again"

so of course I asked him.... well then that means you need to ovulate to start a new cycle, right? He said... "Yes and no." of course I was like huh?

He said "There are times during a cycle were a women has whats called an 'anovulatory cycle'. That means that during what should be ovulation the follicles in our ovaries actually fill with fluid and then rupture but shrink back into the ovaries which then is the cause of cysts! Those cysts then stay attached to the ovaries (he said this is what happens with PCOS)
Then he said there are times that either a follicle didn't grow to maturity (15mm or larger to be mature), none of the follicles contained a viable egg, the follicles are to big (26mm or larger usually contains a low quality egg), or he said our bodies "gear up" for ovulation but never actually produces enough LH to "rupture" the follicles.

After the conversation with him my head was spinning.... there is so much more to TTC than I ever thought! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Some women swear by BBT charting and they say its the only way to "know for sure" if you O'd or not because apparently after ovulation your body temperature will drop.... I personally don't chart because I just forget, or don't do it at the same time every day... its to stressful... but apparently your temperature rises up until O then the day of O it drops by either .5 of a degree or 1 degree. To temp with BBT you would need a BBT thermometer (Basal Body Temperature) CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, really any store with a pharmacy has them lol. But it has to be a BBT thermometer! Then after a full nights sleep (or some say at least 3 hours uninterrupted) before even sitting up you should take your temperature (preferably the same time every day) and enter it onto a "chart" to track your BBT daily. There are some apps like "fertility friend", "Days", etc.. that you can enter it into every day and it makes a chart for you! I tried one cycle but it never pinpointed Ovulation for me :(

Anyway... I'm so sorry for the terribly long post! Sometimes I get so carried away, but I hope at least some of this is helpful!!
