I don't have a firm opinion on this, but I guess my default would be that it's nice to celebrate another pregnancy but you obviously don't want to seem like you're just in it for the gifts. I've seen some people call it a "Celebration brunch" or something instead of Baby Shower. I think it's also less frowned upon if you put "gifts not necessary."

In the end, I'm not the kind of person who would care if a friend invited me to a 2nd baby shower, but for those that do maybe those suggestions would ease their judgements.

tankel baby showers are fine for any baby ! I myself have never had a good enough friend to throw me but I have gotten gifts from friends and family before

I have just started feeling movement this past week and it’s proper kicks and rolls not flutters so fingers crossed it’s you soon!

had my scan yesterday and everything was perfect! Baby measuring about right for dates but long legs and small head haha. Half way so exciting.

It's my 20 week scan today and my gender reveal. Exciting.

Scan went well yesterday - still team pink much to OHs delight! She is head up at the minute which they arent too concerned about but explains why im getting such uncomfortable low down kicks!

I'm getting loads of movement can even feel from the outside now - just need OH to feel!

I've been having contractions for a few weeks now, since painful but not many tget mostly are just right and uncomfortable. My dh finally got on my ass and made me goto the doctor. So I am having Braxton hicks contractions my cervix is low soft and slightly open, and am starting togo into pre term labor I've heard preterm labor before just never this early! The thing that is really bothering me is that tget won't do anything until I'm at least 21 weeks because baby isn't viable at this gestation they are calling it a threatened miscarriage!! This is really pissing me off my baby is just that A BABY tget said so they could do was if iI started regular contracting and really dilating tget could start magnesium, it's this normal? I'm so nervous I'm I'm bed rest and pelvic rest I justfeel like I'm watching a slow motion car crash!

My scan went well. I'm measuring slightly ahead which is unheard of for me but puts my due date exactly where I expected it should be at 29tth sep so close to Oct I'm planning on sticking with you guys as normally go a few says over. Baby is a bit so all being well I will have 4 girls and 3 boys.

Is anyone else dealing with nausea and vomiting this late? It had pretty well passed after my first trimester in my first pregnancy. This go round, I am terribly ill anytime I wake up before 8am and sometimes all throughout the day. Ugh! It's miserable.

That is so scary Katie I will keep you my thoughts , I don't know anything about magnesium wish I could offer advice but anything that will help keep little one in until at least 24 weeks or longer I would go for personally

Thank you, I will do the magnesium If they offer it, the problem is they're saying they won't offer anything to help because I'm too early so they will only help me IF I'm having at least 6 contractions an hour and cervix changes more, but I feel like why wait until something goes wrong why don't we stop things from going wrong? Their whole reasoning is baby isn't viable, so there's nothing they can do! I just don't understand

The doctor in the emergency room said no, but I'm goingto really bug my ob to do SOMETHING and this would be on top of my list, I irst don't understand their reasoning of the baby isn't viable so not muchwere can do yes youcan you can try to stop me from going any further ugh it's so hard
