Still hanging on! I go to the doctor today for anatomy scan and they'll check cervical length and's cervix, so wish me luck theway nothing has changed and i'l be cleared, although still having contractions is scaring me still pressured painful ones sometimes!

Oh goodness Katie that sounds so scary. Sorry you’re going through this. I have regular braxton hicks but thankfully nothing painful. Fingers crossed your cervix is still nice and long today and the dilation is just related to you being on baby 5 xx

Went to the doctor, cervical length hasnot changed and dilation is the same so no changes which is great! Baby looks perfect so as of right now I'm pulled off of any bed rest, I'm so relieved, and if anything happens from this point I can go straight to labor and delivery which was the other concern I had so for right now today everythingis ok!!!

Went to the doctor, cervical length hasnot changed and dilation is the same so no changes which is great! So happy for you Katie! I hope baby stays in now for a long time! We are all only about half way done. Which seems crazy how fast it went by in some ways. Also it seems like forever til we get to meet these little ones. I dont know about you guys but I am starting to gather things together and buy things (especially when I find them cheap at garage sales). It makes me so excited!

I have been buying things for awhile now ! I already have my crib , changing table, breast pump some clothes and binkies . We are going to be painting the crib and table and nursery over the next few weeks and I plan on buying my carseat and stroller and playyard the next few checks . Was going to buy a bassinet but thought the playard would last longer then the bassinet I also crochet so I started making my first blanket I have a goal to make at least 4 or 5 3 heavy ones for winter and 2 lightweight ones for spring and summer

How is everyone feeling ? 12 days to go before we find out the gender getting really excited so we can plan the nursery and get started so paint has a few months to cure . I have been feeling lots of kicks the last few days baby seems most active late afternoon and when I lay down for bed not long now before daddy can feel lo ��

I’m feeling so uncomfortable lately. My stomach feels rock hard constantly and like it’s going to pop, it’s not fun at all! Also her movements have almost been sore. I am wondering if it’s juat a lot of Braxton Hicks?

Blah could be stretching too , I have been kinda uncomfy as well my backs starting to hurt when I wake up.

Today I decided on my nursery colors and theme ! Main colors will be mint , gray and white with navy accents for a boy and purple accents for girl it will be a woodsie type theme with deers owls and squirels , foxes since we live in Northern Idaho land of forests thought it would be cute . I plan on painting the walla mint and the crib white . I will probably piece it together nursery sets have so many things nowdays that are not needed or safe for babies

Redrose: please change my colour to for now... It seems like our baby is a girl after all... Will have final confirmation in a month hopefully, but for now it looks like i am growing a little princess.

Wow they got it wrong first go? How many weeks were you for the last scan ?


I just had a private scan to see my little lady and confirmed for a second time

It looks like they did get it wrong, yes. First one was at 12 weeks, and the nub looked like a boy accord to the doc. The next scan was at 19w4d and it looks like a girl. She/he was moving around ALOT though, so the doc wasn't really sure either...
Will go for an elective in 4 weeks or so just to double check, but I am tempted to believe the 20w scan over the 12w scan, so that would make it a girl.

So last night I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was quite a lot of pink and blood streaked mucus. There’s not been any since and I can still feel her moving. Anyone else had this? I’m guessing it’s my cervix being irritated but we haven’t had sex in a few days so no lt sure what it would be?

Ah sure 12 weeks is way too soon to know gender. Unless you look at side profile and it's usually not even accurate til 13 weeks.

I have the VBAC clinic tomorrow which does make me a little nervous - only because it means that its getting closer to birth!

I'm going armed with a list of questions as I'm determined that I'm going to be more in control of what happens this time as it all got very out of control with DS - I know that i cant prevent another c-section but I'm hoping with my head in the right place ill be better at making desicions should it all go that way again!

Those are so cute Ndh ! Using disposable myself . I am crocheting some blankets for mine and I probably will sew some curtains for the nursery
