OFFICIAL Red Cabbage Gender Prediction Thread!

So my appointment is in 2 hours and i just did the cabbage test again and this time it stayed dark purple! So this time it says girl! hmmmmmm maybe my kid has both hahaha!
The babies heartbeat was at 130 - 135 today also.. my 13 week ultrasound it was 138 then atthe doctors later that weeks it was 150....
Gah I just can't wait to leave and find out lol.

I was secretly hoping for a boy, but my gut feeling was actually a girl OH is hoping the test is correct lol!! I honestly dont mind

Chinese gender prediction and the ring test also said girl, so 3/3 xx

You do all realise that what you're doing is testing the pH of your pee? If the pH of pee could demonstrate gender then people would have been doing it for hundreds of years!

Plus the pH of your pee is likely to be most dependent on whatever you have been consuming recently. Try drinking loads of orange juice and see if it changes colour!

^^ they have been doing that for hundreds of years...maybe not peeing on red cabbage lol, but they peed on leaves from dandelions.

and believers will say: "you get different cravings with boy or girl, hence the ph of your pee will be different"

i'd like to state -as a woman of science- that the above is not what i think, but what others might think and did in the past, i'm not trying to proof them right lol

I had a private scan and found out i was having a boy but the chinese prediction thing said girl. It said boy for my son though!
Now after reading sometimes they get it wrong im abit scared since i have bought blues. Ah well we'll see! But im sure we could see his bits but then it could be the cord! You could tell on my son though,the balls were round and a willy and i thought i could see that this time! I have my NHS scan on tuesday so we'll see what they say,hoping for a boy xx

Lol no I meant they'd all have been finding out the gender before the baby was born and it would be a known thing to do. There wouldn't be all this speculation.

I know nothing is 100% certain, but its fun trying all these things lol and so far everything has said girl im hoping for a boy, will hopefully find out in 3 weeks xx

Lol no it's always about 50% certain. Course it's fun to guess using prediction things . Just didn't see anything about pH in the thread and thought people might be interested to know what you were actually testing.
