I don't know how many more things can go wrong
Alfie was born by emergency section last Saturday (8 days ago) after a really terrible 24 hours of labour.
Since then I've obviously had the recovery from the section, had a reaction to one of the drugs they gave me and have been halluncinating, am anaemic, have tonsilitis and now both me and OH have shingles.
Not really sure how much more of this I can take. My body is a mess.
Obviously my main concern is Alfie who is only 8 days old. I know that he cannot catch shingles, but can he catch chickenpox from us?
I've tried looking it up on the net, some sites say only if he comes into contact with the fluid, some sites say he is at great risk and some say he will have immunity from chicken pox from me because he is so young.
Going to call the docs as soon as it opens.
Any advice would be fab.
