So, we found out we are having a baby boy and I am SHOCKED! Almost every single wives take was wrong for us lol


Heartbeat has been a steady 167bpm every single time we have checked it
My face has been breaking out TERRIBLY the entire time
Baking soda test did say boy
Chinese calendar also so boy
Cravings were definitely girl. I still can't get enough sweet, fruity things!
Intelligender- girl
Bump- still small, but definitely higher than low
Ramzi theory- never understood this one, but put a picture from 8 weeks on a gender board and not one person said boy
10 week scan- all girl guesses
Morning sickness- seriously from hell lol so, girl


I convinced myself completely that I was having a girl lol so if you are wanting one gender and your wives tales completely point in the opposite direction, there is still hope!
Next time, I won't rely so much on them lol I need to remember they're just myths!

It's still so much to fun to try! I am hoping for a boy but will be happy so long as baby is healthy. As far as old wives' tales are concerned I have a little trace of a bump and it would seem I am carrying low. Chinese Calendar says boy, Mayan calendar predictor says boy, and I did the baking soda test which also revealed boy. I have had no MS (THANK GOD!) and very mild symptoms. I have my 12 weeks scan tomorrow, and am sooo excited to see baby! At what week do you find out the sex anyway? I am not sure.

Without exception every chart, old wives tale, and all 15 posters on my 12 week scan the first time told me we were having a boy.... my very girly little madam was a complete shock although I was thrilled. I haven't even really bothered looking this time as I know I can't put any stock in them.

Mine turned out the same. We were desperately hoping for a boy, but were preparing ourselves for a girl because EVERY old wives tale said girl. Heart rate, cravings, Chinese gender, baking soda, and about a million more all girl. Everyone that saw my ultrasounds guessed girl. Even my OB said she got strong "girl vibes". But found out today he's definitely a little boy! We're thrilled .
