Hello everyone, I just realised after turning 35 last month that I can write in this section now.
I'm pregnant with my 2nd baby (due Feb 2013), first one was born November last year (2011). Fell pregnant really quickly with both so I am lucky.
No problems to report so far, no sickness with either, just tiredness. Just weaning 1st baby off breast feeding as my nipples are so sore and sensitive now, guess that's pregnancy related as I had no problems before.
Not sure how I will manage with 15 month age gap.
Now I'm trying to decide, do I get a double buggy??

Welcome. I too turned 35 last month. I have 2 other children who are from a previous marriage (10 & 12 years old). They are only 18 months apart. Don't stress too much, it can be really fun and it is amazing watching them grow up together. One thing I struggle with personally is that sometimes I feel like I made my oldest grow up too fast because I had another baby to care for. Everyone says I'm nuts and its in my head, but I can't help but think it sometimes. My best advice is let them both be little. They are the best of friends or the worst of enemy's today and such different personalities! We are pretty close for due dates, I'm due February 14th but will have scheduled c section a few weeks early. Keep in touch. :hugs:

Thanks
I had c section with first as he was breech, hoping for natural birth this time. Good luck.

Hey there, congratulations!

I would say YES to the double stroller. My older two were 22 months apart and I found the double stroller to be a must.

There are a lot of advantages to having your kids close together. My older two aren't as close in age as yours will be, buttery enjoyed the same toys, same books, etc. also, once my second was about 4 months old and into a routine, I could count on them both to sleep for at least two hours ( at the same time) every afternoon. That was lovely.

I'm in the same boat, turned 35 two weeks after LO was born and mine will be just under 15 months apart. I think I will get a double stroller as I like to be on the go. I'm excited, but know it's going to be lots of work.
