One Born Every Minute is back

pushy mum morelike.. bet her mum was behind that decision to be birthing partner more than she was!

an epi!! about time! poor lass! lol

(dunno what I am talking about I never experienced having one being a home birth, but she looked like she could really do with one. But poor girl was screamin' her head off!)

Call me a cynic but it seemed she was having a section because they were very full in the hospital... I cried at that section. She looked so uncomfortable and I don't think they can have explained enough given she was crying that he hadn't cried yet while he was still coming out. :(

I felt cross that the MW offered the epi knowing full well there were a bunch of sections on so probably no-one available for a while. Surely better to wait until someone might he free then discuss it? Though better to wait to be asked by the mum.

Hey ho.

i dont like this new pair for some reason hmm duno why though....

I think my heart stopped when I didn't hear the baby's heart beating and then started again when it came back. :(

to be fair i never asked for my epi i was offered! with all the pain i had forgotten that i could have one and was only after 2 days of labour they offered one! x

She did look really uncomfortable all the way through!
I missed the part when they told her she was having a section - did they explain why she was having one?

The dr said the machine sometimes stops, not very reassuring!!!!

I didn't catch it either but it sounded like you haven't dilated yet so have a section which personally doesn't really seem like sufficient reason IMO bit maybe there was more to it.

I wish I hadn't been offered an epi, resulted in ventouse for me and didn't even work on the contractions. I never asked for any pain relief, only gas early on, everything else was pushed on me.

shit crying again me.. lol

You can really stand your ground this time PB, now you have more of a clue what choices you have :flower:
