Cynical but yes. I think there were other things that could've been tried first for dilation. In fact thinking of it now were either offered syntocinon? I mean I don't like it but if dilation was a real issue surely that would normally be tried before just going to theatre?

I dreamt about sections last night. Not in a gory way. It was weird.

Depends how long they had been in labour for though and if their membranes had gone or not. Different procedures at different hospitals.

Just watching tonight's now - can't beleive he's rambling on about getting his methodone whilst she's being induced

Can't believe the mws are deciding she'll have a section because of a big baby which it previously showed they couldn't actually palpate! Poor girl. So glad she's asking to wait. Hate these mws that walk in stating what invasive procedure will happen next rather than discussing options.
