Another section! What was the reason this time? We have you an epi so you're stuck on your back so baby isn't in optimal condition and you have a lip which is actually much contended as not being an issue and could even be manually moved aside during vb if necessary?

Homebirth this time for me (I'm determined and know my rights better) so there won't be the option of foisting pain relief on me!

why so many sections today?
You know it makes me realise how lucky i was with Amari..Only problem is it makes me scared to get pregnant again as i dont ever want to have to have a section!

OMG my heart was racing how bloody scary was it when that babies heartbeat kept slowing down, I was so bloody scared for that woman! So glad everything was ok in the end though

Oh my I thought the baby had died when its head was out but not its body, no one was speaking and it was just really eerie. I had only been half-watching before then so didnt know what the lead-up to it was but oh god... So relieved to hear him cry!

She rekons they were dishing out the c-secs because the ward was too busy...Neither of the women seemed to have a really justifiable reason to need one.

Cynical but yes. I think there were other things that could've been tried first for dilation. In fact thinking of it now were either offered syntocinon? I mean I don't like it but if dilation was a real issue surely that would normally be tried before just going to theatre?

I dreamt about sections last night. Not in a gory way. It was weird.

i think the lady who had had 4mc's was on a hormone drip in the first place, she had her show but contractions where not doing much and since she was overdue they put her on the drip

yh was all very rushed last night i might have to watch it again to try and get my head around it fully lol they seemed sooo fast to offer the Epi's aswell like "hey welcome well your atlest 3mc fancy an Epi??"

They were like that to me too (only i was 5cm!) I really really didnt want an epi, Like i wanted to feel everything (even when i had had my epi it didnt work though ) and everytime she came in the room it was "do you want one, It will help your BP!" and id wail "noooo!" until eventually i didnt bother anymore, She made it seem like a good idea!

I dreamt about c-secs too last night PB, Again not in a bad way, but in an.."i hope im never in the position that im rushed into it!"

Too be honest the next time im pregnant (soon i hope!) I hope things arnt as rushed as that, Fortunatly because of my BP they wanted baby out quickly (was put on that drip PB mentioned) and my body worked well, So hopefully the next time it will do the same!

May have to watch opne born again though, Because i seemed to miss the reasons!
