OPK as HPT @ 10 DPO

Am I going mad ...?

I did an IC this morning with fmu and nothing!

Did an opk as a hpt this afternoon (say 3pm)!

There seems to be a very faint 2nd line on the opk ... or am I going mad (poasholic )?

AF not due until Monday (25 day cycle; OV was CD13)

edit: meant to also say, this came up before the time was up too

I get a faint line on an OPK all cycle....I obviously have a tiny amount of LH in my system all cycle, and some women do.

I personally won't use an OPK as a HPT now, as they simply get way too mnay hopes up.

Sorry to be a bore....I really reallly want you to get your BFP, you know that, but I don't want you to get your hopes up unless its the real deal! xxxx

I kept fogetting to add stuff in this post, and what you;ve said is exactly it ... not getting my hopes yet, as I know opks arent reliable - and I of course appreciate your advice hunni - as always

sorry but OPK's are NOT an indicator of pregnancy this early on and (if you were preg) by the time you'd get a +OPK you'd have gotten a +HPT so theres no point using them TBH

Aww sorry I agree with the other girls hon. It would have to be a very strong positive to be even considered and then we get a little LH surge before our period and we always have LH in our system. I'm a POAS addict myself so I know how you feel. I got positives on OPKs and HPTs at 10dpo and the OPK was a very strong line and still is today (yes at 20 odd weeks I wanted to see what it looked like, apparently HPTs can start to fade but they didn't for me ) Good luck though and keep peeing on sticks it's good fun
