OPK collection-cycle goodness-knows-what

Seeing as my cycles have been a bit off course, and Ive had some VERY odd OPK results all over the place in the those cycles, I thought Id give them one last chance to redeem themselves. Im rapidly losing any faith I had in them after positives on the day came that were confirmed not to be pregnancy. Reading other posts here, it seems these phantom false positives can show up wreaking havoc anywhere in the cycle

which was pretty textbook

So far so good, with the first stick from today being as expected, although still a bit misleadingly dark for my liking (CD13-I usually Ov around 18-20, and I doubt Ill be Oving early this cycle after last month and the trouble Im having)

Actually, now I look at it more closely...thats pretty dark for this time. Near positive infact! Stupid things arent helping themselves here!

Ill keep this updated. Im starting to think itll be a false positive fest

I opened a brand new packet today and finally a test that looks more normal for the time of the month! Faulty pack before, I say. So hopefully Im back on track

Its ovulation time. Very late for me. But I felt the pain, and had a very dark positive just now too. Hey, those tickers, which I thought were way ahead, are clever!
We probably wont be trying though as Ive had so many problems just lately

My faith in the OPK has been semi restored! I just got a faulty batch

hiya, what tests have you been using and do you know what strength of LH they detect? i am on CD18 and have been testing twice a day with IC which detect 30 LH since CD8 and all i keep getting is a really, really faint test line, starting to lose faith that i will get a positive. its my second cycle ttc.

would love a pos like yours!!!!

These are the midstream tests from babyornot. Previously I would have highly recommended them, but since Ive had a faulty batch I think Ill be trying another brand from now on. The leaflet says they detect 25

How long are your cycles? Your pos will come hun! Im very surprised mine was so late this cycle, its usually around CD18...sometimes it just happens. Your body tries and then fails, or it could be stress, lack of sleep, your normal time is later than you thought or just one of those things!

its so stressfull waiting for a 24 hour slot in a whole cycle. i really don't wanna miss it!

came off BCP on 11 dec 08 and had normal withdrawal bleed then proper AF 34 days later on 18th jan 09. so, so far so good but i'm stressing myself out coz i had pcos when havin my 2 sons and they took years to arrive! i'm kinda hopeing that i'm due a quick as it took soooo long before.

ordered some lower strength O tests - 20miu. maybe that will help.
