opk help!

Hi there everyone please can you help I am trying for baby #3 its my first time using opk strips on cd 11/12 I got my dark positives then lightened on 1/2/3 dpo then I tested 5dpo and it was darker than my negative ones so tesed rest of day (5dpo) used a total of 5 tests and got darker by evening then 6dpo which is toda has lightened again am I not doing it right I put the strips in urine for a slow 5 seconds....please help!

there is no progression with your LH levels. you always have lh in your system and then before you ovulate you get a surge (a quick increase followed by a quick decrease). the darker lines are either (a) normal variations in your LH levels or (b) more or less concentrated urine
