Orange splotchy legs? Please help!

My lo is 4 months old and is quite a chunk She weighs about 15 lbs currently. About 3 weeks ago, while I was holding her, I noticed that one of her legs (which was bare) looked almost bluish and there were orange spots and marks on it. The dark color of her leg made the spots stand out even more. My lo wasn't bothered by it at all. It didn't seem to hurt her and she wasn't anymore cranky than usual. After about 10 minutes, the weird spots and bluish color went away. Today, the same thing happened, only it happened to both legs. Again, she didn't seem bothered and after 10 minutes or so her normal coloring returned. (see attached pics) My first thought is a circulation issue but I consciously don't hold her thighs too tightly. One of the times this happened she was outside, the other time she was inside, so it doesn't seem to be related to sun exposure. Anyone have any ideas on what this is? She has an appointment on Monday with her pediatrician but I wanted to check in with you all as well so that I hopefully don't worry myself sick all weekend! Thanks everyone!

Not sure if this applies but when my sister had that EXACT same thing, she was told it was blood flow restriction due to cellulite. She uses aloe Vera gel now when it happens and just like your baby its usually fine in 10-20 mins. Other possibility is the blood not carrying enough oxygen (was she in any positions that may have restricted her breathing?).. Only other thing I can think of is fluid retention but that surely wouldn't pass so quickly.
