Our babies are all grown up - December 2009 and January 2010 toddlers

Hey girls,

MNorbury, we still use the sleeping bags for Madi. I just worry that using a blanket would end up with her just being cold as she would just kick the blanket off. Madi can stand up and walk with her sleeping bag on which I thought would be impossible :haha: How was the farm? Madi loves animals, can't wait to go to the zoo and farms when the weather is better.

cutie4evr01, so glad you could join us. Babies all develop in such different ways. Madi has been walking since October so she was a really early walker but she has only really started getting her teeth in the past couple of months and still only has 4. Don't worry they will all get there in the end :hugs:

The farm was lovely, they did a little session feeding the baby lambs and goats, although I think I was more excited than Evie lol. She did like the cows and the owls though :haha: x

Hi everyone! Only just seen this thread! Lily was born 11th Jan 2010 :D can't believe how fast it's gone xx

i'm wondering when to move onto duvets actually? we're in sleeping bags at the moment and think we'll get one of those sheet sleeping bags for summer nights but then perhaps a duvet next winter?

anyone got a cot duvet? wonder how long it'll be until they're in toddler beds....this year some time? :haha: i clearly dont have clue about whats about to come

Hi Jenniferanne

We have started to use Evies duvet this last week or so as I was forever covering her back up, she's not sleeping any better unfortunately but I'm not having to re-cover her all the time!

Evies got a cotbed so it's a cotbed duvet we use.

We went and got her first pair of 'big girl' shoes today as she has been walking so much more these past few days, they are these ones :).

So cute, they have little love hearts that light up when she walks!

Hi Jenniferanne :yipee:

I have bought a duvet for Madi's cot but i've not used it yet as she is so restless at night and i'm worried about her being cold.

Madi has been not well ever since she started nursery so not been on here in a while. Feel like its my fault she is ill because i am at work full time and have to put her in nursery

:hugs: Abigail picks up everything from nursery too, don't feel bad - if it wasn't happening how it would just happen when she starts pre-school instead. How is she settling in at nursery? Abigail loves it and eats much better there than she does at home.

Daisy's nearly walking :wohoo: shes getting there, and will usually only walk when daddys around - so each evening :haha:

Daisy has 2 bottom teeth, 2 top front teeth and one back top tooth, the 3 top ones have all appeared within 2 weeks :) she has a constant slug from her nose and a spotty mouth from all the dribbling though :( x

Hi ladies :flower:

I love those shoes MNorbury! Daisy is still in cruisers. She walks perfectly holding one hand and can take a few steps when she doesn't realise she's doing it on her own but she's just not confident enough at the moment. I have no idea when she'll finally be walking properly. Probably a while yet!

She's a bit miserable as she's got a cough and a cold and is teething. She has 12 teeth and the 13th one is starting to come through. They just come one after another the poor little thing.

I hope Madi is feeling better Bluebaby. I've missed you not being on here as much :hugs:.

How long til your baby is due Cattia? I can't believe how time has flown Hayley and you are 13 weeks already! I'm still TTC. I can't wait to get my :bfp:!

JC - I'll be 36 weeks on Sunday - I can hardly believe it! My pregnancy with Abigail seemed to go on forever and this one is passing in the blink of an eye. I hope you get your BFP soon :)
I am thinking of getting Abigail some cruisers. She seems to be at the exact same stage as Dasiy. She will walk for ages holding just one hand, but when it comes to walking on her own - no chance, apart from the couple of steps she's taken when she's seen something that really excites her! I wondred if cruisers would give her a bit more support,as at the moment she just wears loose leather slipper type shoes. The thing is, if she's only going to be in them for a few weeks then I am wondering if it's worth spending the money, or whether I should just hold off and get her walkers?

At Clarks they said to get her feet measured every 6 weeks and if Daisy did start walking the cruisers would still give her enough support, and are fine to wear outside until she got her feet measured next time and then I'd buy walkers. I think the cruisers are good for giving her a bit more support and helping her balance.

Wow 36 weeks already! That seems to have flown by! How exciting! Are you on team yellow and were you on team yellow with Abigail?

Yes, we are on team yellow but we are sure this one is a boy as both DH and I thought we caught a glimpse of something boy like on the 20 week scan! We were on team yellow with Abigail too, my gut feeling was that she would be a girl though! Am a bit scared of having a boy as I feel like I won't know what to do with one, but hopefully I will get the hang of it when it happens! I guess they can't be all that different... :)

She isn't really settling in. When i drop her a nursery she starts crying even before we get inside and once we are in the nursery she cries and screams and clings onto me. So i cry all the way to work every Thursday. The nursery says that once i'm gone she is fine the rest of the day but its just so much for us both in the morning. I just hope things get better. Cattia I can't believe your pregnancy has went so fast and your LO is nearly here. Team yellow keeps you guessing right up to the end which is so exciting. I think I will only have girls for some reason. I also don't know wha I would do with a boy :haha:

Thanks chick, hope things are well with you and Daisy, hows your work?

Hope everyone else is well :hugs:

Hi all, it's been a month since I last posted! My news is that Ethan is now walking! This last week! He was cruising around loads and would work towards me or Dave but suddenly just one day turned and walked into the centre of the room and now he's walking loads. His cruisers are doing him just fine. He's nearly 16mo and all my friends babies walked around this time, a few a bit later, so I think that 1yr is a myth.

Hope you all had a nice Easter with ur LOs. Can't wait till nxt year when we can do an egg hunt and give Ethan an egg.

Hi, great news that Ethan is walking!!

I'm pulling my hair out with Daisy. She CAN walk but she won't. She took her first steps at 14 months and walked 18 steps across the garden yesterday and walked 12 steps in Mothercare this afternoon to something she wanted to play with but 99% of the time she won't walk at all. If we try and get her to walk she just drops to her knees and no amount of persuasion will work. She doesn't want to walk and she just won't do it most of the time!

We had a nice Easter. I hope everyone else did too :).

I'm so sick though. I never had morning sickness with Daisy but this time for the last 8 days it has been from the minute I get up until the minute I go to bed. I have such a headache as I'm dehydrated as I can't keep any fluids down. I havent even been able to go on BnB for the last week as I've been so poorly :(. Roll on second tri!!

Hey girls only just found this thread! Maisie was born January 26th 2010! theyre growing up far too quickly cant believe shes 15 months tomorrow!! x x

:hugs: JC, I hope you feel better soon! How horrible for you :(

We had a nice Easter, still waiting for this baby which is now 4 days overdue. Abigail has just started walking properly! She looks a little strange as she walks with her legs apart and one hand sort of bunched up, which I hope is just a balance thing that she'll grow out of. She is getting faster every day though and doesn't want to crawl as much any more!

:happydance: clever toddlers :) Daisy has been walking from the day she turned 14 months, its wonderful, nothing better than walking hand in hand and playing with a ball at the park, waited so long for this moment :cloud9:

I cant believe how grown up they are getting and a few of us have younger siblings for them on the way - crazy!

Good luck cattia - I hope baby doesnt keep you waiting too much longer xxx

Yes, good luck Cattia. Not much longer to wait! Or has the baby arrived yet?

Jealous dying for another baby but cant afford to till after our wedding next year x x
