4 days to go, ive not heard from the specialist she said she will message me with tracking for the helmet, she said once she receives tracking from the states its usually 3-4 business days until the helmet gets here, and as its 4 days away with no tracking im pretty sure my appointment may get pushed back slightly, which is fine, deliveries are so uncertain at the moment

Fingers crossed it still comes on time but yes deliveries are taking a extra few days especially if it’s coming from the states too !

Hopefully it won’t be much longer and you can attend his original appointment !

Just caught up reading! I'm glad you were able to get the apts and the helmet! Hoping you can pick it up soon!

You know, their heads are still growing, and it might not even be 7 months!
Mateo was 16mm difference. Within 2 months it was 2mm, WITHOUT a helmet. (Granted, it was a full time job working on his head, and I only had him back then and you got 2 other kids that need you), but my point is, you know, each kid is different and some have more growth spur than others, and some have a more malleable head than others as well!

But I'm glad you followed your instincts, and that everything got done despite the whole COVID situation going on. I'm sure he's gonna look adorbs in his helmet!

Thank you so much for that hun! Im hoping its off sooner, as ideally I would like it off before his birthday, but we shall see! Im hoping its as quick as Mateos head I really am, Enzo has a 19mm difference so they basically said best case scenario would be 5 months and worst 7 months, so either way it isnt too bad really. I would just like it over and done with now!

The sleepless nights and naps will be a killer at first for you both but hopefully he willl get used to it quickly!

You forget all the sleepless nights as newborns all mine slept thru from 8 weeks give or take the growth spurts / sleep regressions god those are killers haha !

I know hun! All mine slept through from 6-10 weeks and I never had a bad night since! Im sure he will be fine though, he lives his sleep and the boy could sleep anywhere in any position so im hoping the helmet won't be a bother to him

How’s he been so far?!

We're on a strict breaking in progress to make sure his skin adapts so 1 hour, 30 min break, 2 hours, 30 min break etc.. so hes onld had it on for an hour this evening when we got home and was absolutely fine, he did get annoyed when he was sat in his swing that he couldn't turn his head to see what was going on behind, but he was so good with it! Tomorrow the real fun starts!
