I felt like my waters were leaking at 11.45am so I put a clean panty liner on and went upstairs to fetch my clothes. By the time I came back downstairs my panty liner was wet through to my knickers. I took the panty liner out and put a period pad on instead. When I checked the pad an hour later (approx 1pm) the pad was soaked through to my leggings. I rang the local midwives and was advised to go to my local hospital to be examined to check if it was in fact my waters. When seen at antenatal clinic, the midwife took one look at my underwear and confirmed it was definitely my waters but as I was not having any pain, she told me to go home and ring the labour ward at 7am the next morning to see if they had a bed for induction. I went home and carried on with my housework. At approx 4.30pm I started getting pains that were coming regularly for at least 40 seconds a time so I took 1x 500mg paracetamol to try to ease the pain. I started tracking them on one of my pregnancy apps on my phone and rang my OH Rhys to let him know what was going on. As time went on, the pains were coming 3 minutes apart for 45 seconds long. At approx 5.30pm, my Mam rang the labour ward and they said I should come down if I felt I needed to, so I waited for Rhys to get home from work as I was expecting him to arrive any minute. Rhys arrived at approx 6pm, and asked if he had time for a quick shower before we left so I said yes as the pains weren't getting closer or stronger so figured we still had a long wait. At 6.15pm we left the house for the hospital, still breathing through my contractions in the back of the car and arrived at the hospital at 7, and got to the labour ward for approx 7.15pm. The pains were getting stronger by this point and I was offered co-codamol for pain relief as I was only 3cm so it was too early for gas & air, I didn't take the co-codamol though as I felt sick and was sick after taking co-codamol when in labour with my lb Riley. At approx 7.45pm we were moved to a delivery room. The pains were becoming more frequent and more intense. At 8.15pm I told my Mam I needed to push, she shouted to the midwife who told me to go for it. I pushed through my pains, panting in between and our little princess Darcy arrived at 8.34pm after no pain relief whatsoever! Her Daddy almost missed it as he's gone to update my mother in law what was happening as she was in the waiting room, he came into the room as her head was out! I needed gas & air for my stitches tho as Darcy had come out with her arm up and scratched me inside on the way out. She was a dainty little doll, nothing like her big brother, and weighed a petite 7lb 11.5oz. A good weight, but teeny compared to Riley at 9lb 7oz! I did however, lose a lot of blood during delivery and also needed stitches. I had to have an IV drip put in due to the amount of blood I lost but was still a brilliant birth experience.

I've attached photos of my beautiful girl below :flower:
