Our little boy finally decided to make an appearance at 41 weeks 4 days! Lazy, just like his daddy!
I had totally given up about having this one naturally and had been booked in for induction for 42 weeks, today actually.
But I kept being woken up in the early hours of Thursday morning with pains but they were all so low down I just thought it was how I was lying or something. But they just kept getting worse so decided to go into hospital at about 8-9am.
Once they had checked everything I was about 6-7cm and got into the pool and had G&A. It was honestly so relaxing, I could have fallen asleep haha. I was so so nice. I was in there for a few hours before needing to push. After his head was out the MW got all panicky as his shoulders were stuck so pressed the emergency button and a load of other MWs rushed in. Everything turned out perfectly fine though, it happened so fast but I managed to push him out myself within a minute or 2. The cord was so short I couldn't hold him properly so they cut it quickly as I held him up to see if he was a boy or girl and OH, who was behind me, was just sobbing when he saw he was a boy! Bless him! They took him to the resuscitation table thing (even though he was breathing when I lifted him up so I got a bit confused) and I got out the pool, went to the bed and everything else was sorted by the MW while I had amazing first cuddles with him! It was amazing.
Our (not so) little baby Max was born 21st November at 13:05 weighing 10lb 14oz
DD loves him and constantly wants to give him cuddles but gets worried when he cries :L I'm on cloud 9 atm though
