Out of date crisps?

Hey ladies so yesterday I ate a packet of wotsits normally I check the date on everything cause im paranoide but the one time I didnt It was out of date! I bloody didnt notice unitl I had ate most of the packet how Ironic is that? so anyway they expired the 30/07/11 and I ate them yesterday 16/08/11 which means they have been out of date for a couple of weeks! im freaking out cause wotsits are cheesey after I ate them My stomache started getting a bit soar I dont know if its because I was freaking out or not any ideas on how bad this really is x

Lol I wouldnt thik twice about eating a bag of our of date crisps, its a best before date anyway isnt it so theyre not going to harm you, they just probs would have tasted nicer a few weeks ago!x

You will be ok eating those I think. If they were really bad you would have noticed as you was eating them that something was wrong with them and they werent that out of date. xxx

They have to put a best before date on which is usually a while before things actually go off! All it means is that they taste better before this date and maybe would be starting to go a little stale if left much longer than this. If you didnt notice they tasted funny while you were eating them then they are perfectly fine!!!

You just need to be careful with "use by" dates put on things such as meat etc.. as you could end up ill from this but "best before" just means it might not taste as good or might go mouldy.
