Over 40 & childless

I was just wondering if there are any ladies out there who are long term ttc & have no children....i tend to think im on my own on other boards, and they all post their pictures of children, it can get a little down heartening sometimes....would be good to have a thread for us older specimens .lol

Hi Ahava. I have been LTTC (over 3 years) but some would say I'm still young. I don't really feel it being childless and about to hit 30. This whole section of the forum is filled with ladies who have been TTC for a long time (over 12 months). So welcome

I'm also 33 and have been TTC for 2,5 years now. With just one other friend (who is not even TTC) I'm the last one left without children or not being pregnant..

Anyways, welcome to this section!

I have been ttc for about 18months now and I'm about to turn 36 this month and hubby is 29. We have no children at the moment and so I understand totally where you are coming from, even though it is hard for all us ladies on here regardless of age as it is such a personal thing! However I do understand and really hope that you do get your bfp in the not too distant future.

Are you under any fertility clinic that you can have further tests done or have you had these done already? Cos if not then you need to see what going on and why this happening after you get bfp.

Hi, i have been pregnant many times....lots of chemicals (1 termination as per my signature). I have done ivf icsi 2007 miscarriage, 2 FETS- bfns..now saving for another ivf, but trying naturally. I get bfps every month virtually testing on 8dpo...then af arrives so chemicals. I have given myself baby aspirin after ov..and i am on progesterone/cyclogest after ov...

cannot proceed forward now till we have enough money for our next ivf....
