over weight

Iv just started to the past few days but it's not loads and my anterior placenta doesn't help

I had a lot around midnight at 16+3, and a little bit more around 8-9 (same day). Today I had a couple of pokes, but that was about it.

I am the same way. I am huge but I've lost 10lbs this pregnancy. I did the same with my daughter and only ended up gaining a total of 13lbs. I left the hospital weighing less than pre-pregnancy. I'm shooting for the same with this one. The NP said she doesn't want me to gain any weight this pregnancy but my Dr. said between 10-20 is right on track. I eat healthy and keep active so that helps. I say be proud of the amazing things your body is doing and worry about your weight after baby is here! I was the same exact weight with my daughter and she was 6lbs 10oz when born and perfectly healthy! <3

Oh and I started feeling baby last week. But since I have an anterior placenta I really only feel her on my sides.

My doctor said she wants to see no more than 10-15 weight gain. Im hoping for no more than 10, honestly. I'm only 14+6 today and haven't felt movement, but it's still ealry, don't know if I have
a anterior or Not.

My doctor didn't give me a weight amount to gain, I'd love to gain nothing but i know my body and as soon as I'm not 100% active and eat a few of the wrong things I gain like crazy. My main worry is the c section and something going wrong cos of my weight, it scares me crazy sometimes when I think about it

That's me exactly!

As far as c sections go, my weight was pretty high when I had DD. Fortunately things went well with the section. But my weight was useless. She was 6 lb 4 oz. When I got home from the hospital, I only weight 2.6 pounds less than the day I had her...

It took me over a year to get 5 pounds below pre-pregnancy weight (only to get pregnant again!).

I'm just trying not to gain as much as I did with DD. I'm hoping to have a vbac (one of things encouraging me to try and gain as little as my body will allow). If I can't have the vbac, then I'm hoping my body will be in better condition for another section.

WOW ladies don't be so hard on yourselves! I am in the same boat and honestly yes I have my moments of feeling less that beautiful but most days I realize and treasure this time of growing a miracle and I don't care that i look 8 months instead of 5months pg! I am not tracking my weight gain like crazy like I did with my 1st because at the end of it all i ended up with a c section and 4weeks later was back to pre pg weight which was still high but i mean baby weight isn't what made all the difference so don't stress about it now, just enjoy being pg and eating as you like sometimes :)

I'm more worried about the surgery risks, not how I look

I'm in the same boat, put 3 stone on with ds, lost a few pounds then got pregnant again when he was 9 months old, so this time my gain is 1stone 8lb and I'm due in a week 😊 I also worry that if something were to go wrong, would my body be ok if I had to have an emcs? Fingers crossed and touch wood everything will be fine but still something in the back of my mind xxx good luck ladies xxx

me... I started this pregnancy out 15 lbs overweight and I keep gaining a lot at each dr. appt. I am scared to see how much weight I am going to gain at the end!

I was 222 at my first midwife appointment (6 weeks along). I haven't weight myself since. Too scared! I have already been referred to the obstetrician at the hospital, and am high risk of gestational diabetes (both due to weight and strong family history) and pre eclampsia. Am only supposed to gain 10-15lbs.....I have severe SPD and cannot walk without crutches, have to use a wheelchair when going out - so exercise is nil right now! ugh
