Overdue July Mummies join me!!!

awwww ladies thats exactly how i feel too. I never thought i'd go overdue, im on day 4 now and i've given up hope! hehe. As hubby says "he's made a grapling hook out of your umblical cord and he's not coming out!" My LO certainly isnt moving until he's ready too.

Random question but do you ladies not have to wait for a certain day each week to see your midwife? I have to wait for weds but it seems that others can see there midwife on a tuesday and then again on a friday for another sweep if things didnt work with the first one.? (hope that makes sence)

Can i come play? i was due 4th July, think my littles mans stuck! they've said im having a big baby and im beginning to think he's too big to come out on his own! booked in for a sweep on Thurs and induction next Tues hopefully x

alright I am joining you all officially! its my due date today!!!!. and i have no signs of it comming out at all.. last night I thought it was going to escape out my left hand side! I told it if it could figure out the direction it was supposed to be in maybe it would come out!

hellllloooooo to all the new overdue july mummies. We appear to be growing in size. Not that its a good thing but at least were not alone.
I had an awful day today, was ridiculously sleepy threw up twice and my feet swelled so badly that i had cankles and could see where my toes really started. Maybe that'll get some sympathy from my midwife tommorow and she'll book me in for an induction instead if making me waiting till next week to book it!

I havent been able to book a proper appointment with my mw as theyve been too busy but the cllinic next door have two drop ins one on a monday and a friday. had a sweep on monday and the mw said to go back on friday if i want another one xx

i've gone on the evening primrose oil ladies to try and encourage things along!

I cant understand for the life of me why they didnt give you a sweep anyway. Surely it wouldnt have been that much extra effort for her!
Ahhh the evening primrose capsules, i've been trying them out for a while I took three orally everyday and nothing, then I tried one up there and nothing again, but that was before I was due. Hopefully it'll ripen your cervix and you'll go naturally before next week!

yeah i thought that too...mind you it was just before lunch and she left the surgery as i was pulling out so i suppose it wasn't her chosen thing to do just before she was about to eat

think you're right as the info seems to say things like RLT and eve primrose only work if your body is ready to pop so now we're overdue hopefully our bodies are ready!!!

Yep i'm officially overdue by two whole days now lol

Been offered a sweep for friday when i'll be 40+4. Didnt get offered a sweep until i was over 41 wks with my previous two but went into labour before i made it to those appts anyway. Hoping this one might be the same lol

Well ladies I've had my sweep! 4cm dilated. Lets hope things go well. I've written about my appointment in the july mummies thread! not that it was that interessting!

im gonna be pregnant forever

had my sweep today which was fine, im 1cm and soft although a little far back.
bad news is they wont induce me until the 22nd, ill be 15 days over. i really dont want to go that far over, so am praying that the sweep does something...

have had another show since, and LOTS of crampy pains, so taking that as a good sign. fingers crossed

i keep thinking the same im now officialy counting down to my induction date 9 to go, got my sweep tommorrow so fingers crosed xx
