Overdue July Mummies join me!!!

hello ladies...i am now officially over due! yesterday was my due date and no sign of LO making an appearance

i've tried everything...curry, sex, clary sage, eating loads of whole pineapples, have had RLT and OEP for weeks, tried running up stairs, walking, bouncing, strapping myself to a breast pump, 'unnesting'...nothing has worked! booked in for a sweep next tues tho so hopefully that might start something

I am in the same boat as all of you!!!.. and question? Does it hurt you guys as much as it hurts me to walk around lately!... Id rather not even get up!!!.. I went for a sweep yesterday.. and she explained that I should bleed.. loose my plug all that stuff.. I am 1 cm dilated.. and I was excited ALL day.. and NOTHING.. not even a drop of blood .. Im so sad! I have another appointment tomorrow at 1115 at the hospital so they better do something for me then!

Im 5 days overdue now, the wait/weight is killing me, i don't know which is worse! im having my swep today hoping it will do something.

I had my sweep last monday, bleeding (stopped soon after), litle bit of menstrual ache and back ache, also think I lost my plug that day and the following.
Since then I have had brown discharge. Also have had more BH, the bump gets hard but no pain, just pressure down.
Also get menstrual pains on and off, sometimes bad ones.

Now im 41w today! man Im loosing the cool here! dont want to wait mutch longer hehe. Wont be induced until im 42w :S

I have apointment tomorrow with mw because my bloodpressure had gona up a litle bit so im going for extra test. Im wondering if I should ask for another sweep? What do you think?
My oh sayd I should do what I want but it sounds like he thinks we shouldnt, like "it didnt work on monday so why bother trying again" thing.

is anyone else getting sick of being asked 'has baby arrived'? its crazy...i used to read post abt this sort of things and think that it wouldn't bother me but i've been getting calls since b4 i was even due from my mum and sister and friends who all seem to think i'm not going to tell them when i have it!!! all this morning the phone has been ringing pretty much every hour for baby updates! OH MY GOD!!! its driving me mad

been for sweep today but dr couldnt do it because my cervix was to high up also her head is really high this baby looks like shes not for coming out xx

I am sooo lucky when it comes to people asking me if I have had the baby yet!!.. and being an annoyance , I have my cell phone with me.. but Its just for work and non of my family has my number accept for my imediate family, and I live an hour away from town so I am staying with my mom until I have the baby! just to be on the safe side So all the calls come to my mothers house and she answers the phone!.. she even said My goodness.. I will tell them when you go into labour I wont forget about them! I just giggle.. better her then me!

lol lucky u...i wish i had some sort of PA to screen calls for me....do u think ur mum will answer my phone 4 me and fend off all the questions?- i could pay her in cupcakes (i have a slight baking fetish atm)

it was my induction day today!!!.. I got to the hospital.. and THEY FORGOT ABOUT ME
they didnt even have me booked to see anyone for a check up.. so I got to see a specialist for a few minutes.. and i have to go back 9am on saturday morning

attempted to have my sweep yesterday but my cervix is still clamped shut, she couldn't do anything. Im booked in for a growth scan today as m/w is concerned that bubs is at least 10lb and is unsure i could deliver him, great! im booked for an induction next Fri if all is well today, ill be 41+6 then really dont wanna go over 14days overdue.

Im 41w1d and had apointment with mw today because on monday my bloopressure had risen a litle.

I had a sweep on monday, cervix was soft, 1-1,5cm shortened and 1cm dialated.

She offered me another sweep today and I jumped on it hehe

She was surprised on the changes. The cervix is just 1/2cm long now and im 3cm dialated and all looks very good. She could do more now, could do as good sweep as she liked to on monday but now she said it was a good one hehe. And it was more uncomfortable than on monday but didnt hurt mutch, was more like pressure and uncomfort.

Well, now the waiting game begins..again! hehe hope it will work

i've had 4 poo's today and i kinda need another now (TMI i know but its really weird for me- i'm far more of a once a day girl if that) hoping it might b the start of something!! fingers crossed (never thought i'd b this excited abt pooing!!)

just wait til either you start ignoring people so they harrass DH instead (my tactic!) or they start mega bugging DH anyway...he'll soon see it's a royal pain in the ass!

nothing seemed to come of yesterdays little poofest! must have been something dodgy that i ate.
i'm trying some licorice root tea now as i've heard thats a good natural inducer....wish me luck. i'll keep u all posted if it works x

I resulted to castor oil the other day; I didnt get the runs nor contractions.... he just will not make an appearance!!!

my last try at self induction didn't work...i tried licorice root tea last night- i drank 3 cups but nothing happened! boo!
