Overdue July Mummies join me!!!

Hi ladies

I am 41 wks today. Was booked in for a sweep this morning but they couldn't do one as baby's head not engaged and cervix was too high! Baby seems to be popping in and out so I'm booked in again on Tuesday for a sweep so fingers crossed she is engaged so they can get things moving. Midwife recommended a long walk (done), pineapple (done) and a hot curry (planned for tonight) but I think this baby is just comfortable.

I am now 4 days overdue me and hubby are getting impatient now to meet our little boy, got midwife this morning she said i can have a sweep if i want one.
went for a lovely long walk yesterday with hubby which was nice but nothing happened

Hopefully us overdue july mummies will get our babies soon

im sure i be joining u girls, im due thur ( so sick now and not even overdue ) just dont feel like anything is guna happen ive a consultant app the day after wonder if he will gimme a sweep ?

well day 5 for me ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i want my baby now!!!! really dont wanna be induced on saturday we not had any overdues have there babys yet?? xx

Hey ladies. Had my sweep today at 41+1. Nothing doing... and it doesn't look like anything is going to happen soon with a feeble Bishops score of 2! Got another booked on Weds and then induction on Friday if nothing has happened naturally. BOO HISS! At least the sweep wasn't as bad as a smear!

Im 41 weeks 2day and had me sweep 1 cm dilated told me sister she was like only 9 2go yeh and look how long that could take, well I have an induction booked on sunday if nothing happens fingers crossed for us all x

After half a day with horrible back pains yesterday; I got up this morning and believe I lost my plug (although not positive, it was in the toilet water) but it was looking like white snotish substance sorta similar to the way cum looks in the toilet (sorry if tmi). On my way to the doc now for a Non Stress Test and to schedule induction (i hope grrr)

GRRRRR i'M STILL PREGNANT!!!! its driving me mad...i just wanna know when LO is coming?! i've got a sweep booked 4 2moro which i really didn't wannna have to get to. i wanted baby to arrive b4 that

Hey all - I'm officially overdue now as well - only by 1 day but am already cranky about it!!!!!

Just to make things more annoying have been having twinges and period type cramps etc on and off for over 2 weeks now - what's going on in there!!!!!!!!

On the positive side at least I can still eat as much ice cream as I want and not feel guilty about it lol!

I had my sweep done this morning, nothings happened yet not even a niggle, although mw said my cervix was very high up so having another sweep on weds and if no progress has been made by friday ill be booked in for an induction

I thought I'd pop on and say hi too. I'm 3 days overdue and had backache and period pain since Sat am and the pressure down below is awful.

Going to hospital to see Consultant on Wed and Midwife told me to ask for a sweep if they don't offer and she's booked to come out and do another one on Friday if I need it.

Fingers crossed we get our babies soon!!

well there is light at the end of my tunnel; I was at the dr today on the monitor and wasn't really having any contractions; Dr did internal and not dilated at all. So induction has been set for friday night. 4 more sleeps and it all starts our new life

Midwife came round this morning...she couldn't do a sweep and apparently my cervix is long, thick and tightly closed so its gonna b a while weirdly enough tho i feel better knowing its gonna b a while...i can stop wondering every second of the day if labour is abt to start and not being able to arrange anything more than a few hours ahead of time 'just incase i go in2 labour'....iukwim?

defontly know what u mean purple, im fed up of thinking is today going to be the day. day 7 for me today... so organized to do something everyday going for my dinner with a few friends today, doing a big last tidy in the house tommorow making sure everything's ready, then friday of to the pictures. then saturday induction time for me so just hoping the LO makes her appereance now iv planned things. xx

Sweep number 2 was just as unproductive as number 1 for me! No change since Monday... cervix still closed for business! I have to phone the ward on Friday morning at 9am to get my checking in time so hopefully there will be no emergencies so I can get in earlyish! Good luck fellow sweepies today!

Ive just posted a new thread, but would like to add on here as well!!
My due date was yesterday, and I'd had 3 unsuccessful sweeps every week since 37 weeks, but so far Ive always had a high posterior closed cervix. Today at my 40 week appt, and after yet another failed sweep attempt, I was surprisingly offered an induction for TOMORROW as my SPD has been getting really bad and I cant sleep at night.
I said yes, but am feeling so weird now, as its more of a certainty now that I'll be olding LO within the next 2 days max! Also, Im feeling quite nervous about whether Ive made the right decision, or whether I should have waited a few days more for nature to take its course, as I lost my mucus plug yesterday!

What do you girls think?!
