Overnight

Hi all

Just wondering at what age did you let your little ones sleep out at grandparents for example. My inlaws would love to take Charlie over night but he isnt sleeping through yet, they have said they arent bothered but i am not sure if its too soon so was wondering at what age your babies stayed out?

leeons just turned 1 and still never really stayed anywhere else just do it when u feel ready but they say the younger the better as baby gets used to iy

Ruby hasn't been away for the night yet and she's almost 7 months, the closest thing is my parents have come to our house until 2am to babysit but we put her to bed first. She's only just started sleeping through the night this week (4 nights in a row now, woohoo) plus she has been a nightmare until a month ago so we'll probably let her sleep over soon. But, with Rachel she was sleeping over at grandparents from 3 months so yeah if you inlaws are happy to take him and give it a try, maybe if your planning going out, not to go too far though or maybe have a trial sleepover while your staying at home. x

harry was 5 weeks... he was an angel for them. I am comfortable leaving him wih OH mum and dad but wouldn't leave hi anywhere else. I missed him like crazy but was good to recharge batteries and have a good sleep x

Hayden is almost 16mo and has never spent the night away from me...not even out of my room haha. My oldest was 2 when he did and only did because I was in the hospital having Casen...other than that he was about 2 1/2, Casen was almost 2

When Char was 4 weeks my Mom took her for the weekend. I desperately needed a break and so did DH so she took her. It was nice to have a bit of a break, but I haven't let her go since! I missed her SO MUCH and almost picked her up early.

Haven't managed to leave Hannah for more than 4 hours and that was in her dad's care a few days ago and it almost drove me up the wall after 3 hours!!
