I am on cycle day 12 waiting to ovulate started BDing every other day since Tuesday just in-case.
really trying this month. The doctor told me i have to wait two years before he will see me as Im "only 23" :/ so i have to wait until December.. but feel like I`ve been doing this for so long now
Im off work next week for half term so that should help me feel all relaxed and acording to the world of conceived in the first month-ers... thats all it takes to get pregnant... so feeling hopeful ;P (feeling kinda sarcastic does it show?)
mrs lemon: good luck for this cycle! oh yes all you need to do is relax and 'it will happen' haha!
i would DEFINITELY go to another doctor. I'm 21 and it took a while but finally got some help. Whether your 16 or 60 if you are having trouble conceiving everyone deserves help. Who says your going to magically conceive just because your young.
x
Ive spoke to dh and if we haven't conceived by the summer I`ll go back and demand to get some help.. that way ill have 6 weeks off to appointment's and such.
Hoping this is it tho as ive now ovulated 2 months in a row on the same cycle day so I feel like my body is settling down and dare I say working!!
That's great news lemon! Seems as though it's certainly working! Hoping that you won't have to go back in 6 months... only to the scans and midwife appointments .
All good here, tablets are rough on me but can't really complain as I finally got help.
Hubby has been working this weekend so bit of a boring one for me x
There's not much to report here to be honest. I was doing a bit of research into hospital options and it says that the hospital near my hubby's parents will take people in labour from further afield, so when the time comes we're going to look into labour there. It's slightly more distance wise, however the same time wise because the roads to cheshire are all main roads and not little back roads that hubby needs to drive super slow on. Plus the added bonus of us having the extra family back up and support if we need it (hubby has family 20 minutes down the road and I have family just a bus ride away).
And the biggest bonus of all we don't need to find £150 for accomodation for hubby. If we'd chosen the hospital in Carmarthen then he wouldn't want to drive back home as it would work out as a 5 hour round trip so we would have had to pay for a hotel/b&b for him. As it is, he can be 20 minutes away when he gets sent home at night and be looked after by his mum
Sorry for the babbling, I'm just so happy and relieved to have finally decided on this, it's been playing on my mind alot and I was having a bit of a blub last night thinking that I'd have to have so much money saved just in case
Im 26 and tt#2 . This is my 8th cycle and my bmi is 35. When I conceived dd my bmi was 37.
I had a great pregnancy followed by a difficult birth wher I did not progress and had an emergency section followed by a uterus infection.
I am staying positive although I am a bit worried that the infection will have long term damage affecting me but I had an internal scan and nothing looked wrong so I guess without further tests I just need to assume all is well
I am on cd2 today.
I am trying reflexology (amazing) soft cups, pre seed, and the smep.
fuschia: hello and welcome! its great that you were able to conceive at a heavier weight, hopefully you will be able to conceive again soon.
did you conceive fast with your dd?
sorry your labour was so difficult but i'm glad they gave you a scan to check all is well.
Emmy- it feels extra rewarding when you move down into next set of pounds doesn't it- really feels like progress!
Thank you comet.
I conceived my dd 1st try!
I have reflexology twice per month - this will only be the 2nd month.
I go to a fertility and pregnancy specialist reflexologist who works on relevant areas at each time like ovaries etc.
This period is much heavier than mine have been for a while and seems more.... healthy looking ! I think the reflexology has helped with that and perhaps helping me build a better lining ready for a new bean to get comfy in fx!
How long have you been trying? Looks like your doing amazing with weight loss!
Fuschia: wow the reflexology sounds so interesting, I have look into accupunture and want to give that a try.
I have been trying for a year now but I have pcos so fingerscrossed it happens for me soon! Thank you, the weight loss has been hard but worth it!
Acupuncture is meant to be great for ttc- I think the principles are the same as reflexology.
Im a bit scared of acupuncture to be honest!
Is anyone's oh overweight?
My husband bmi is 46 and it really stresses me out.
We just had a massive row before he went to work because he said he would go to the gym last night and didn't so he said he will go this morning instead and didn't and I just blew my top at him!
I said really horrible things and I feel awful but im also feeling so frustrated and worried!
A) could his weight be stopping us from getting pregnant?
B) hes 9 years older than me (35) and I really worry about heart disease etc as he holds it all on his belly!
Thank you mrs lemon.
I see your hubby is a few years older too.
My hubby had gone on a crash dket just before he met me and was pretty slim! But it was a 400 calorie per day thing that he fainted on etc! When we got together i put a stop to that cos I felt it was dangerous.
Since then ( 4 years ago hes piled it back on cos he started eating badly and stopped exercising plus his metabolism was mucked up by the crash diet.
I know being overweight can cause a low sperm count which I'm sure we would improve with weight loss.
Obv im worried about my weight of bmi 35 but I can do something about that! I can't exercise and eat well for my hubby! So I get so upset when he doesn't pull his finger out!
How is everyone doing? I lost 2lb this week so that's positive! Also got af so maybe its actually more will find out next week!
Me and hubby are still feeling the aftermath of oir argument! Hey at least its now and not in 10 days when we'd need to be getting busy!
