Ovulating from both sides?

The day before yesterday, I got O pains on my left side around 5pm. However, last night, I got them on my right side as well, around 7pm. Is it possible to O from both sides in one cycle? I guess I had always thought that twins occur when two eggs are accidentally released from the same ovary.

DH and I are kind of not really trying, not preventing this month, so I can't imagine what would happen if I ended up with twins this month! We picked names to cheer me up after I didn't get pregnant last cycle. I had always leaned toward wanting a girl, but after picking names, I'm super excited for the possibility of either a boy or a girl, to the point where my brain said "Wow, I kinda hope I have both a boy and a girl so I can have both the little ones I'm picturing!" Well...maybe my body gave me two psychosomatic o pains because of it?

Yes it is possible to ovulate from both ovarys in one cycle. I have done it many times and again this month I was and still am sore on both sides. Good luck!.
