I've been using the ovuation microscope. And since I started taking provera I've been seeing more ferning?! I thought the ovulation microscope detected estrogen? And provera is progestrone? Should've the ferning be less?

I'm sorry I dont have an answer, but what is an ovulation microscope??

It's a way to determine if you ovulation. It's a little microscope and you let your saliva dry on it. And when you look at it and see ferning like the plant it means your going to ovulate.

I google searched it, and this is what i found:

"By placing a saliva sample on the Ovusight lens, you will be able to clearly see the "ferning patterns" that occur when estrogen levels rise. This estrogen rise signals the onset of ovulation and this is your best time to make love so you can get pregnant." https://www.menstruation.com.au/fertility/ovulitefertilitymicroscope.html So I would say you're right!

Also, this website explains the difference between "natural progesterone" versus provera. Maybe this explains the ferning issue? https://allonhealth.com/natural-progesterone/provera-is-not-progesterone.htm

Yepp sounds right! But what's weird tho is i'm taking provera which is progestrin which is suppose to be just like progestrone. Which rises after ovulation. And since I'm taking it I would think I'm progestrone would be rising and I'd barly have any estrogen for the ferns to show up.. but they are! weird right?
