p60 if unemployed?

My husband is self employed and is doing his tax return but as we were on job seekers (the taxable kind) in part of 2012, he said we need a p60 from dwp, but i didnt think you get them unless your employed? Hes asked me to ring and ask for one but i dont wanna look like a wally if they say you cant get one!

Anyone ?

Yeah they do something like a P60 my hubby had one when he was unemployed a few years ago, I think it was just sent out to us.
