FYI the content is horrid. I won't go into details because I don't want to offend BUT I saw some excerpts from google in which the book explains how to molest a child, watch and keep child pornography and more in a way so if it is caught it the penalty would not be as harsh....even going into detail about getting extra small condoms. SERIOUSLY. It's frightening.
Glad it was pulled, something like this is inexcusable -- free speech or not.

To be honest I don't think they really knew what this book was all about initially BUT after there was an outcry they did attempt to hold their ground citing "free speech". Luckily, they did pull this publication.
There has to be a line drawn somewhere within the free speech boundaries, child molestation tips is FAR on the other side of the line!

But it does bring up a few things in my mind which can never be discussed. My friend is a psychiatric nurse and she insists that paedos can't change so we need to not go around beating them up. Which always makes we wonder what the solution could possibly be. It's not like they can come forward and ask for help even if they wanted to. Voluntary castration? Bearing in mind that castration just removes all desire. Maybe the mental aspects of desire still remain?

Anyway. This book is vile and i hope there is not a publisher who published this. As in i hope it's privately printed. I would like to really know what is in it though before getting so wound up but it's difficult not to with so many reports.

Im getting to the point of being sick to death of hearing about free speech, too many people are using it as an exscuse to get away with whatever they want, its an earned privalegde not an easy loop hole.

As for the type of people that this book is aimed at they shouldnt even be intittled to freedom let alone free speech.

I would have assumed in an ideal world this sort of thing would have been covered under the incitment to commit a crime law, if websites and such instructing on how to make bombs are taken down and investegated then surely this sort of thing should as well.

Taking the sale of the book down isnt against free speech its just commen sense

Im pretty sure if she had suffered at the hands of a sick, vile, monster of an uncle when she was just a child she would have a slightly different view on that.

My oppinion is they do not deserve anything, no rights at all and should have their hands and balls cut off and im pretty sure any person who has actualy experianced the same thing would agree with me.
Im also pretty dam sure anyone else that has experianced it would not be saying "oh but hes just ill, lets get him some help"

They generally can't be, the majority of offenders go on to continue reoffending, almost 100% of them reoffend. So, IMO, kill them, get rid of them, they should never be allowed out into society where they can harm a child, even looking up child porn is incredibly harmful. The whole thing makes me sick.
I sometimes wonder how someone can be sexually attracted to a child, babies.. are they born that way? Are they abused so badly in their early years that they develop the attraction?

Don't forget that there is a difference between paeodophilia (sp) and most child abusers. The majority of child abusers are regular people that get off on abusing their power, they're not sick or physically attracted to kids, they have power over kids and like to abuse it. They were not abused in their childhood, or if they were that is not a reason to abuse - it's an excuse. If they didn't know it was wrong they wouldn't try to hide it.

In someways I think this book could be useful, as vile as it is. Maybe the police could monitor it's sales and trace and investigate everyone that buys it

I am too scared to look at that link. I obviously think it is sick and disgusting etc. The issue comes down to evidence. I know people don't think people will falsely accuse people but i know two people, both very unstable individuals, who have and i also know why they did so. I also know a list of people who either were regularly abused or who had odd incidents which is why mother guarded me like a hawk. I don't know if it's a higher than normal ratio but in big extended families news gets about. There is no way someone who is guilty of this should be allowed to be free. But there is a burden of proof.
