Pain / throbbing in nipple

When I fed DD last night on my left side it started to really hurt. I reattached her a few times but still my nipple ached.

The pain has continued today - worse when feeding - but throbs a bit all the time. I've looked at it, it's a bit pinker than my right nipple and it is sore on the bottom part. I feel fine in myself. I've had a hot bath and a shower to see if it helped but nothing.

Any ideas ladies?

It could just be a strange latch from bubs for the day. If it persists maybe consider vasospasm and seek some advice.
