It is my lo's birthday next month and we are planning a party for him. I've not planned one before so would appreciate some advice from you ladies. There are going to be around 30 people there, mostly adults and a few kids.
Food and Drink.
I'm making the cake myself, is it ok to serve this as pudding? Should I do anything extra ready?
What foods would you have for a finger buffet and how much would you allow per person?
What drinks should we serve? We have decided not to serve alcohol, does this sound ok?
Entertainment.
It is mostly going to be adults so we are not really planning any entertainment, does it sound ok to leave everyone to chat amongst themselves?
I had thought about party bags/games, but then thought the parents with babies will presumably bring their own bits to occupy them and with only 3 other 1 party games wouldn't really work.
How do you think a ball pit, tunnel and playtent would go down with the littlies?
Decorations and other.
Where is the cheapest place to get decorations?
