Could a ruptured cyst or PCOS pain caused a false positive results? I just wanted to make sure if a cyst fluid could contain any HCG hormones that occurs to cause a BFP? Anyone had this issues before?

From what I've researched, it's very rare for an ovarian cyst to contain hcg so chances are it's the real deal. The best way to know for sure though would be to do betas and see if they double within 48 hours. Of course if you would be very unlucky and have a cyst containing hcg, it wouldn't be able to double.

Good luck! :)
