Period on CD 19

Hi all, I'm 39 and TTC #1. I had a chemical pregnancy in January 2015 and got the green light to keep trying the following month. My cycle ranges from 25-27 days, but this month I started spotting on CD 16 and AF showed up on CD 19. I used CB Advanced Ovulation tests starting from CD 6 and got the flashing smiley face for 6 days (high fertility) then AF showed up before I ever reached peak fertility. I'm not sure I even ovulated this month. I'm waiting to hear back from my dr, but in the meanwhile, I was hoping some of you ladies can share your experience with the CB OPK's or having a random, super early period.

I was also surprised by an early AF once at 21 dpo...compared to a usual 28-30 day cycle. I couldn't find any explanation for it. My accupuncturist said that sometimes our cycles can have an unusual month as our bodies adjust to a change in season, so perhaps that can be part of it?

As for the CB OPKS, I'm not sure what may have been going on. I usually used ICs until thee starting getting darker and then I confirmed with the CB digi (the one with the smiley face). I would only ever get one day of a smiley.
