Periods while on minipill?

I started the minipill after my baby was a few weeks old, have had 2 regular periods since. I also breastfeed my 3 month old and always take my pill within the 3 hour window so not worried about pregnancy. So my question is, my period is now late, is it possible that I won't get periods anymore while on this pill or are they just going to be irregular? Anyone have experience with progesterone only pills I am new to this!

I might not be the best reference for this since I was only on the mini pill for 4 or 5 months (until I could get my IUD) but when I was on it, I had regular periods. However, maybe the hormones from breastfeeding could be throwing your cycle off too?

I was honestly surprised I even got the two I had, I really thought nursing postpones your period. I guess I am just unlucky! I hate waiting for AF to show, probably from my TTC days ��
