Periods.

Why do periods hurt so much after a baby? My second one PP started yesterday and its absolute agony..

Does having baby by c-section make it worse?

I dont know about periods after a c-section, but my periods have always been horrible anyway. My period right now (which is my first after having elliot) doesnt seem too bad, but we'll see how it goes. I'll be asking my gp for some mefenamic acid tablets again if they go back to how they were (painfull and usually quite heavy).

totally agree. i have had two really painful and heavy periods since my little fellow was born and they lasted for ages! I was nothing like that pre pregnancy.

not sure about the c section question as i had a forceps delivery.

I had a c-section about 5 months ago and found that my periods were actualyl mild compared to how they used to be before ,

i had a c section hun and after they were worse than ever but now ive not had one in 9 months and noooo im not pregnant LOL
