PG one month after m/c.ttc 9years!!

Hi,

I have been reading this & many other forums since finding out was pg in Dec 2010...but sadly i m/c on 31st Dec...but despite being told by doctors to avoid ttc during Jan we have found ourselves pg again..one month later....

am of course a nervous wreck..went for HCG last wk at 4wks 4days & levels were 567 but prog was 102??

my nurse said HCG is a bit low & now waiting for next result this week..

my story is we have been ttc 9 years...have a 5yr old DS who was born via IVF treatment, then had 2 more unsucessful attempts..lost twins at 7wks in 2008...

Started the Napro system in oct 2009 & was just about to give up in Nov 2010 when by miracle got pg on a month with no meds..but sadly this ended as a blighted ovum & i miscarried

Now miracles of miracles i find myself pregnant again & last time i didnt want to tempt fate by posting so just kept reading others posts..so this time i am hoping will be different but i do feel as if odds are stacked against me because we didnt wait b4 conceiving but after 9 years with no natural pregnancies I didnt even imagine it would happen again the very next month!!

Maybe my story gives others hope...i hope so....but of course i am stil not out of woods by a long way...but even to get pg is a blessing to me....

hoping i will be able to stay chatting on these boards this time....

Congrats hun. Sorry for your losses. It's so hard not to worry but I take one day at a time n try to think positive- although that doesn't work all of the time! Are u in the uk? What is your due date. Mines 2 oct xx

thanks for welcome. i am living in Ireland but originally from UK. not 100% of due date think arnd 8th October...

kept as busy as poss today..my bbs seem sorer than last time & i have been hungry more but not much else different...so my symptoms cant set my mind at rest...

it is such a worry isnt it....

Sorry for your losses hon but congratulations on this one. There are quite a few of us that caught the following month and rumours say we are more fertile after a mc but no idea if there is any scientific truth in it. Hope this one is a sticky for you

yes have scan on wed but doc just emailed me to say he needs to change time so may have to wait til fri now...but i suppose longer i wait more i will see if indeed there is anything to see..last time was just an empty sac...was so glad i did see this thou as wen i m/c my twins they were two little embryos when they came out but when i mc last month it was very different like the images of a blastocyst you see on net...so now have 3 little ones under our special tree...

Welcome- I went through the same- and believe me, I know it's hard, but try to relax a bit- the best thing for your new little one is a happy healthy mama!

sat here trying to pass an hour before i can ring docs to get my 2nd HCG result..so worried it will be low again...

was ok..posted results on other thread jumped from 567 to 1577 in 3days..so hoping its good sign..but worried all day yday it didnt jump enough & now my symptoms i had seem to be less than they were...going to see my fertility doc tonight for early scan & chat so will know more then..so have another day to get thru..but also have blood test this am so will be busy enough if i just stop thinking about it!!

does anyone else have low hcg & does anyone know what their estrogen levels are?? because mine are not rising very high either 776..progesterone is high at 97..have been on supplements thou....

I have just started the Napro programme, I've been charting since October & we're off to Galway on 18th of Feb, cant wait to start my meds xx

I am so sorry for your losses!! It is hard to lose an baby, I am so sorry you lost so many! I hope this one sticks for you. congrats on the pregnancy. I hope everything goes well.

I think your numbers look just fine they are supposed to double every 2-3 days at this point, and you are 3x!

thanks everyone..i updated other post again..we saw hb last nite..which was amazing to see at such early stage...have a few other issues now going on..so not out of woods yet by long way but much more hopeful now i know not another blighted ovum as was so worried my eggs were problem...

April..Napro was best thing i ever did...after the IVF's ...there seemed nowhere else to go but Napro has just been brilliant..i dont think enough people know about it here in Ireland but especially in Uk...good luck with your Napro journey....
