i know ya said you don't want an slr coz of the expense and the lens changes etc, but if you feel you will go into photography even more at some stage, it might be worth looking at some of the cheaper slr models coz they aren't that much more £££££ than what you're looking at there.... (sorry if i'm not making sense ) also, if you got your hands on a lens with a good range you wouldn't be wanting to swap anyways for a while

Hey Girls,

Well my first year at college is over. Final assesment was last night OMG it was so nerve racking but i got 4 shots in the top 6

2nd place for high speed sports
3rd and 6th place for still life
4th place for landscape

Okay so I didnt have my Camera with me, so I took these on my phone. I was babysitting my Nephew yesterday. FYI - A 6 week old and a 3 year old for 6 hours = TIRED Callie.

Anyway, so these are really terrible quality as they were taken on my phone, but they were cute so i thought i'd show off my beautiful nephew.

we just thought that as we are used to going out on thursday nights for photography why waste them and a project might make us open our eyes to somethign new

I had been looking into a camera club locally, but can't find any info on where it might be....

yeah i've been to a couple but i'll be honest it seems to me that most of them are old men sitting around discussing the good old day with film etc

i'm serious i sat in on one and the guy next to me was falling asleep mid discussion he looked so old he was already decomposing. and i'm not kidding!

needless to say i'm still looking for a suitable club!
