Sophie is just over 6 months and is rocking on all 4s, surely she's ready to go any day now lol

My 9 month old is getting her balance...she's been walking unaided for about 3 weeksShe's now steady enough to carry something as she walks.
She can wave and occasionally gives me a sloppy 'kiss' and a hug, but doesn't clap yet, she's showing no signs of that yet at all. Literally all her energy and focus has gone on getting herself fully mobile, I reckon.
I think she's starting to think about climbing...she can get up a step with a little help, but still tries to go down headfirst, and has so far shown no interest in trying to go up the stairs.
3 days after I wrote that, she started throwing things, clapping, and climbing all the way up the stairs...all on the same day!
My LO is going to be 1 on sunday!!! How did this happen lol. Far too fast!!
She's been crawling since 7 months, pulled to stand then too, cruising at 8 months and walking at just over 10 months. So, she's walking all the time now, causing havoc around the house lol. She is also faaaaar more into climbing than her sister ever was. Cant leave the stair gates open for a second or she spots them and up she goes. She's always climbing onto the sofa and beds too. She loves going to the park and playing on the slides and swings.
She's great with things like clapping, waving, high fives, blowing kisses and gesturing yes or no already. Although she's moving onto words now too....this morning she actually shouted "hiya....hiya...mumma (to get my attention)....thaaaaat (and pointed at what she wanted)" her communication is improving so much already. I'm sure she has more words turning 1 than DD1 had and her speech is fantastic.

Ashlin started pulling up and getting into a sitting position from laying down at 8.5 months. Two days before 9 months she started crawling. Shortly after it was cruising on furniture. Just turned 11 months and I'm not sure if she'll be walking by her birthday but it would be great to see!
Her social skills are amazing. She can say mama, Dada, ball, and kitty. She waves hi and bye, blows and gives kisses, and shakes her head yes and no when asking questions she's familiar with.

10 months old... Getting really confident in crawling. No steps or unassisted standing, but can just about pull himself up, depending on the surface. No waving or clapping yet, but will give you a kiss if you ask (and he feels like it)! Lots of dadadadada, mamamama when he's mad or sad, and nananana when he's annoyed (think he's attempting to say no 
). Can drink from a straw cup by himself, and enjoys throwing things everywhere. About a month ago learned how to pull himself into a sitting position, and since he's still in our room, it was kinda terrifying to find him sitting up in the middle of the night staring from his cot at us! Bath times are fun too because he likes spinning himself round.

DD2 is 10 months but since May has been in a spica cast for hip dysplasia (big plaster cast waist to ankle) which will be on til December. However it hasn't stopped her from pulling up to standing on the stairs! She's been crawling since 6 months so she adapted to army crawling in the cast very quickly. She's super strong and much more physical than her big sister was at the same age, i'm convinced when she gets the last cast off she'll toddle out of the plaster room
