I've been recommended that Pilates is a good exercise to do after a C-section, anyone else heard / done this?

I've got my 6 week check up next week & hoping to start some exercise the week after that
 
Yes, I teach Pilates and had a c section too.It has really helped me to my core/abs back in shape...they arn't like they were before, but getting there. Pilates is great not only for your core but your back and it just makes you feel good. Make sure its with a qualified instructor and she knows you had a c section. I started 5 weeks after the birth of my little girl, so 6 weeks you should be fine. Good luck x
 
I'm going to let the instructor know I had c-section, a friend of a friend goes & she is qualified.

I didn't have great abs before so not expecting miracles, but anything that can help get rid of this belly would be fab!
