placenta as gender predictor

can someone help me and point out where the placenta is? they said that if you know where the placenta is located, you can guess baby's gender.

i didnt want to read and run, although im not much help. I dont know how to tell either! Ive also heard something about whether on not you get a vaginal ultrasound, it may be a mirror image, so technically it is flipped?? I dont know...

U can't really tell by the pic Hun as there's no way of knowing unless the tech told u at the time of the scan? I'm having another scan on the 1st July and I'm gonna ask where the placenta is lol
do u know which side u ovulated from?

I'm not sure about the theory. But with my son, I had an anterior placenta. With this baby, its a posterior placenta and I found out today that its a girl! Can't remember the placement of my first daughters placenta.

I think baby has to be on a side - Left or right. If baby is in the middle, at the top or bottom, I don't think you can guess accurately. Also, it would depend on if these are transvaginal or abdominal ultrasounds. Sorry I can't be more help!

It's the choronic villi placement (start of placenta). I'm predicting girl
