I was told at my nhs 20 weeks scan aswell as it being on my file. I had 2 due to position one at 19 and one at 22 weeks that my placenta is high posterior. I had a private scan today im now nearly 30 weeks and she mentioned that my placenta is infront of my womb now im confused does this now mean its anterior??? I didnt think it would change so far speshly from posterior to anterior?

I didn't think it could go that far either. But that is what it sounded like she said

Unfortunately ultrasound isn't an exact science and sometimes they are read a bit wrong, you can't tell which of them was right about whether your placenta was more towards the back or the front BUT the only thing that matters is that the placenta is high and out of the way for baby's birth which it sounds like it definitely is, so I wouldn't worry about it :)

It doesnt really matter though.. both are fine locations :)
