placenta covering cervix and baby week behind

So had our 19 week ultrasound Wed. The dr said my placenta is covering my cervix but he isn't concerned with it right now. Anyone else had this before? Is it anything I should be concerned about?

Also, he moved my due date back a week. baby is measuring a week behind. Should I be concerned? She was measuring on time when we found out gender at 15 weeks. So basically at 15 weeks she was perfect and now at 19 weeks she is only measuring 18 weeks.....

Yes, and I believe there is a group for placenta previa on BB. Mine was also 4th degree (completely covering) and even with having bleeds DD ended up being just fine. My LO ended up being on the smaller side as well and though worrying it does tend to fix itself as the uterus expands. If not mentioned you might want to consider pelvic floor rest and taking it easy when you can. You should get another scan at 28 weeks just to make sure it has moved. If for whatever reason it has not the only complication will be a mandatory c-section.
