We have the Step2 walk-in kitchen. It was Emma's big hit for her first birthday. We regularly have playdates at my house and the little boys love it just as much as the girls. Emma plays in hers a few hours each day even still!! I plan on buying her some extras for it for christmas this year(play toaster, blender, etc.) I recommend any Step2 kitchen. :flower:

I can't wait 'til Lucas is old enough to play with one because he's getting this - https://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+Wooden-Toys-Honeybake-Cooker+B3749 - whether he likes it or not! :haha:

Joseph loves play kitchens.

He doesn't have one yet but he always plays in the one at play group and if we go to friends or relatives houses and their children have one he heads straight for it.

I don't see why a boy couldn't have a play kitchen. If anyone asks just say you are starting him early for being the next celebrity chef and that you don't want your son to grow up with bad stereotypes. :flower:

My nephew had one and loved it :flower: Now he is older he likes to really cook / bake too!

We have one for the boys, Landon and Casen even still play with it though it was more popular around 2-4yrs old with them all, Hayden still loves it! They get to pretend they are mommy or play restaurant, I've eaten more fake food then I can stand to think about lol. They constantly shove it in my face haha

I plan to get Gabriel a play kitchen when he's older, so that he can cook just like his daddy!

I was also wondering this ... Ben likes the 'home' corner at nursery so thought a kitchen would be a good idea, i need one with a dishwasher though cos hes obsessed with mine!!!

:)

My boys (now 21, 12 and 9) loved having a kitchen, they all also had doll and pram and the younger too had the ELC dolls house with all the little bits and pieces. With having 3 boys they only had to mention liking something that some people might class as being a bit girlie and I was there buying it. I used to get so fed up of cars, trains etc. Sadly now we've moved on and the younger two are into WWE, football, etc.
I'm sure all these children whether boys or girls will love having a kitchen to play with.
