What do you play?

Do you just listen to the same music you always listen to, or do you make special selections for the baby?

I put the Beatles on this morning, with my laptop resting on my belly, and little one is dancing like crazy! He really seems to like it :)

i just play whatever is on my playlist at the time; though kezzy hates when things touch her so she kicks the laptop off my belly xD

i play you'll be in my heart and a whole new world,, :D
he dont respond to them though ,, :(

I play a wide assortment of music. Some gets her moving some stops her moving. I make note of both, especially for the nights she won't stop kicking, then I'll play stuff that has made her stop in the past and it helps me get better sleep.

I haven't started playing him anything yet though I think we'll start soon. We went to a Disney stage show yesterday and he was kicking and kicking during all the songs. It was too funny. So that made us think it's time to stick some headphones on the ol' tummy. I'll probably play a mix of the stuff we like and throw some classical in there (not that we don't like classical, but we don't listen to it as much)!

I play my more mellow music.
Some slower, quieter stuff. Instrumental stuff, and sometimes I throw in more upbeat music to see if they will dance. Hahaha.

I play whatever I am listening to in the car, and he loves the live music when we go to church. I have a special cd his uncle made him with his piano compositions on it that I play just for him. We went to a concert last night and he loved the last band that played, he was dancing and moving all around.

i used to play my beachboys cd to my son when pregnant. he seemed to love it, kicking away. after he was born i put it on most mornings and would dance with him, he fell asleep everytime. it seemed to really comfort him.:cloud9:

I started playing music at about 20 weeks. I bought a baby lullaby cd that I use at home and just hug headphones around my belly. This is the CD I plan to use when he needs to be soothed at night and when he's at my mom's during the day while I'm at work.

If I'm in the car or playing music around the house, then it's just whatever I happen to be playing at the moment.
