Totally dissatisfied with this product!!! I bought this for my daughter for her 1st birthday and that "stopper" on the back that is supposed to prevent it from tipping backwards does not work! It still tips backward and also prevent it from moving freely so it does TIP. I am seriously dissatisfied with this product. I bought a Cars one for my son and it didn't have the stopper and I didn't have an issue with that one. My son (2years) tried to play on the Princess one and fell backwards and hit his head THREE TIMES just today. I would not recommend this to anyone. Not worth the $30 I spent

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7dRF5FnL7Q <<----My review, excuse the irritation in my voice, I was extremely frustrated. After the third fall of the day, I will no longer let my kids ride it..so during the review I used very little pressure from my right hand...now imagine if a 20-30 pound toddler is on it

Hmmm.. Are you sure it's not you're carpet hun? That looks like a pretty thick carpet so maybe it's just that that's making it catch?

you can see it getting caught in your carpet because its quite thick, i had thick carpet in my old house and the walk along i got for my LO did the same thing.

IF the box said 'not to be used on thick carpet' then yes - but it probably DIDN'T - I've taken my daughter's ride on to my grandparents who have thick carpet and had no problem - thank you Ilovehim for letting us know xxx

It wasnt the carpet, he even used it in the kitchen (tile) and it did the same thing and another thing, it said NOTHING about using it on certain types of carpet, regardless this is the 2nd version they made of this, the one in the pic and the one in video are kinda different. But I know it isn't my carpet, its that stupid stopper on the back. I just know I will never buy the one with the stopper again. I had bought a CARS one for my son last year that didn't have the stopper and it never tipped!

and no, it is getting caught in the carpet because of the stopper. My son had a CARS one last year with NO stopper and it never TIPPED...Therefore, I blame the maker of this product. Regardless, this is the newer version that I just bought for $30 at Walmart...It is CRAP. I just wanted to warn people about this but apparently I am going to get told "its your carpet" when all I am doing is trying to help. It isn't my carpet, its the stopper, and I still find it unsafe, enough said.

Did you contact the manufacturer with a complaint? That is dangerous and definitely should be reported so they can fix it in future models, and hopefully give you a replacement that DOESN'T flip backwards. That is ubsurd, do they not test products on real children before selling?! I seriously often think not!

I have a similar one and it does the same, i just went and checked and mine has that stopper as well. My LO doesnt really bother with it, but when she first got it she could only move it backwards and i had to hold it to stop it tipping.
For UK ladies i got mine in asda and its the princess one.

We have something like this which also tipped once so I put it away - I wasn't going to use it again after Harrison hurt himself the first time, only for him to bang his head another 2 times... I think with most things, it should be fine as long as child is supervised on it. When Harrison used his (besides the one time it tipped) I would hold onto him whilst he sat on it. To stop this happening in future maybe you could write to the manufacturer? I'm sensing from your video that you're pretty pissed about it so it might be an idea

Tom's got a similar one in blue with a stopper but to be honest the only time his has tipped a little bit was when he tried to push backwards hard when on a thick rug. It has been fine on our normal carpet or out in the garden.

I'm sorry yours isn't working well.

We've got a winnie the pooh one with an identical-looking stopper at the back but it has never once tipped over. We don't have any carpet in our house so I can't compare (if that's the reason) but it's too bad that some tip. Love this toy though!! :D

We have one of these as well with a stopper on the back and it's never tipped over on our carpet. Could it possibly be a fault or something? :flower:

er ok calm down! :flower: If it tips anywhere else other than on your carpet i'd write in and complain, wouldnt like to see what would happen if a LO fell and banged their head on a tiled floor. They should stop putting the stoppers on them anyway i noticed with a few walk alongs they jerk/get caught which makes them fall backwards so they arent safe atall.

OP, we have the exact same car and have done for the last year, our daughter plays daily on it, but it's never tipped for us.

We do have wooden floor so maybe it is the carpet, or perhaps yours is faulty?

Because otherwise it's a fab toy and our dd loves it.

we have a winnie the pooh version of this toy and i have noticed if morgan leans back against the handle part with her full weight it does tip but if she sits right in the middle of the seat its fine

weve got one with a stopper different style to yours and i understand your concern, the stoppers seems to low to the ground and catches easily if the ground isnt completely flat. we only use ours in doors now.

I wrote to the manufacturer the day I posted about this. They didn't reply. I had since returned it to the store with no questions asked from the manager of the store I purchased and got them something else. IDK what it was but I still will not be purchasing the ones with the stopper ever again
