This is about sterilising bottles.
I have an electric steamer tommee tipper steriliser and OH says that you have to leave the bottles IN the steriliser after it has finished and get them out one by one as you use them if you get me?
I thought I could get them out of the steriliser when it's finished and store the clean, sterilised bottles in a cupboard of whatever.
Otherwise the bottles end up stacking up and I end up having no bottles left and have to wash and sterilise them all in one go!

Does this make sense? Basically, do they have to stay in the steriliser once sterilised or can I store them somewhere? Thanks

You can store them fully made up with the lids on tight for up to 24 hours after sterilising xx

So if I don't use all 6 bottles in 24 hours and there has been No formula made up in them , would I need to sterilise again?

here they say you can leave them in the fridge after sterilizing for 24 hours with water in but no milk once the sterilizer is opened it stops being sterile so i wouldnt personally put them in a cupbored i make mine up add water fridge and add milk as i go but with my 1st 3 i did add milk but health visiter said it's all changed now AS IT DOES LOL id ask hv if your not sure:flower:

They won't be sterile if stored in the cupboard. They either need to be left in the steriliser with the lid on or add water to the bottles and store in the fridge and use within 12-24 hours:flower:

To be on the safe side its probably best to. Although as your baby gets older (like 4-6 months +) it most likely wont matter if you left them a bit longer than 24 hours xx

once the steriliser is open they are no longer classed as sterile - our told us we have to re-sterilise. However some people put them in a zip lock bag

My steriliser said the bottles would keep for 24 hours if you keep them sealed in the steriliser with the lid on

as long as you put the bottles together with the lids on and add the water straight away you can leave them to cool on the bench and theyll be fine that way. but you must keep lids on as its the teats the baby touches. do not however put milk in until needed. once you removethe lid they become unsterile but providing you use boiled water and cover the teat they will stay sterile that way

I keep the bottles in the steriliser till i need them, like your oh said. but you dont have to do this. i dont wash them all in one go either, i was each bottle after ive used it so im not washing 6 bottles at a time.
