Hi, this is my first post as i've recently registered, although I've been reading for a few weeks!
I'm currently 16 1/2 weeks pregnant with baby no 2. I have a daughter who is 3 years old.
I work 32 hours a week (classed as part time!!!) in the finance industry.
Been married to my DH for over 11 years now. It took us 3 years to conceive our DD and we thought it would never happen! Decided to book a nice holiday to south africa for my 30th birthday when I discovered I was pregnant! Now I say I might get the nice holiday for my 50th birthday instead.
We hadn't decided to have another child - think perhaps God has decided that for us! We just took some chances and I got pregnant! If only it was always as easy as that.
So, baby is due towards the end of September. I've passed the terrible nausea & tiredness stage. Haven't felt little 'un moving yet which has made me quite anxious, although I had a check up last week with the midwife and heard the heartbeat for the first time - reassuring!
Look forward to maybe getting to know some of you!
Naomi
