Hi there everyone...congratulations on your BFPs...hope your all doing well...I've just popped over from the TTCAL forum in search of hope for a quick BFP after recent early MC so thought I'd do a poll if thats ok ? Be great to get as many results as we can please... If I can work out how too  Not sure if its going to end up as a Poll Lol So I'll post my questions along with this post anyway..Thanx

OK, so did you conceive

1: Before 1st AF after MC
2: Before 2nd AF
4: Before 3rd AF
5: Before 4th AF
6: Before 5th AF
7: Before 6th AF
8: After 6th + AF

Ok, hope this makes sense...if there is no poll ( ) would you mind just posting as a comment instead...thank you girls and congratulations again ! :)

With my daughter it took a long 8 months for my bfp after my first loss.
Last year after my chemical i got a bfp before AF
Then after that loss i got a bfp before 2nd AF ( we didnt try the first month so we catched on our first try )
x

Thank you very much for sharing Stacey ! So sorry for your losses :( :hugs: but congrats on your BFP !!...wishing you all the best ! :)

With my big MC last year, I got pregnant 3 months after my D&C (only 2 cycles since I skipped a month entirely, but I'm pretty sure one was anovulatory) ... but it was a chemical, and I lost it just shy of 5 weeks. I conceived again the following month (2nd cycle).

August - MC
September - D&C
December - BFP
January - Chem MC
February - BFP

It's a bit convoluted, but there you go. Hope it helps!

It does indeed help Dill, thank you very much for sharing :)

Am sorry to hear of your losses. I hope you never experience another again so best of luck to you Dill and congratulations ! :flower:

So, from all the searching and reading on this subject I've done so far it seems cycle 2 or 3 are when most ladies report getting their bfp after MC...hoping for more results on here though ! And hoping to join you all soon x

So sorry to hear about your loss.

We got pregnant on cycle #2 the very first time, but that resulted in a loss. We got pregnant in cycle #8 after that (9 if you count the times we tried before first AF). It was a LOONNNG 10 months (I have long cycles, so those 8 cycles spanned 10 months). But it was worth it! Our daughter was born healthy and is now 13 months old! TTCAL is awful, especially if it takes awhile, but when the journey is finally over, it doesnt seem that long in hindsight. I still CANT BELIEVE that my loss was almost three years ago!!

I've always been told, including by my favorite nurse, that women are most fertile in the 3 months following a MC. :)

And thank you very much for the well-wishes. So far, so good (knock on wood)!!!

Fingers are crossed that I'll see you soon over on the first tri board. :D

I'm not sure which answer to pick in my situation but here goes.

November 20 2014 I had a mmc and tracked my hcg to 25 and a week after that blood draw, having had negative hpts, I got a positive. 2 days later I stated AF,just days before Christmas.

December/January cycle nothing.
January cycle a got a :bfp: a 13dpo (after just knowing I was pregnant since 9dpo) and then two days later again started to bleed, only I found out nearly 3 weeks later my bleed wasn't my period like I thought and I'm still pregnant.

So I guess before 1st and 3rd AF going y my first mc and before my 2nd AF going by my chemical.

Thanx for your response Topanga :) Sorry for your loss hun :hugs: and yes I imagine it did feel like FOREVEERRR but defo worth it now you have your baby girl :) Are you currently TTC ? If so good luck  x

Glad to hear things are going well Dill, long may it last  and yes hopefully see you around in first tri soon :) think my body is gearing up or just gone through ov based on a few symptoms so hoping to see a BFP soon x

Hi NDH :) So sorry for your losses :hugs: such a difficult thing to go through :( so glad to hear your PG again though ! How are you feeling ? Congratulations to you and losts of sticky baby dust sent your way ! :dust: x

Thanks Mim! Yes, we're currently NTNP/TTC #2. We started trying when LO was about 3.5 months since it took us so long with her. My cycles were really messed up though and are just starting to even out over the last month or two. So we're currently in cycle #7 this time around. Thankfully right now it's pretty stressfree and were just laid back about it all!

Good luck to everyone here who's TTCAL or PAL!!

I voted for 6+ months but it did so twice. We had our first bfp after ttc 19 months. Which I unfortunately mc at 6 weeks. Took us another 11 months to get our second bfp which ended in our second mc. It then took us 7 months to get our third bfp and I am now two weeks off my due date. I have to say its been a long process but hopefully soon I will get my happy ending!

after my first mc got a bfp after 2 cycles but that ended in a mmc- then 7 more cycles to get this bfp. good luck!!!

I had 7 early losses in 18 months.. last one was Dec 27th 2 weeks later I conceived this baba.. I am 10+1 :D saw baby last week and it was dancing around :D ps im old 42

Wow ! :) look at all these lovely preggy ladies coming forward...thank you soo much ladies ! Very kind of you all to share your experiences :flower:...and as always I'm very sorry for all your losses, life can be unfair eh ?! :(

Well, I think I need to chill out a bit and not get my hopes built up that it will happen for me straight away, especially as I have pcos ! Because of that I'll prob get stuck in TTCAL for year or so :( sorry ladies feeling sorry for myself today :( my boobs have been sore for nearly a week now which keeps me hopefull but tested and bfn grrr I hate TTC when I get carried away like this...so as I say I need to CHILL OUT Lol :p

Thanx again ladies sorry for my rant and congrats to you all, am wishing you all the luck in the world :hugs: xx

Months I was actively TTC I never got pregnant.. when I took a bit of time out I got pregnant.. but they didnt stick..

I had nookie once in January and that is when I got pregnant with this one. ONCE!!! and a few of us in the october group all had nookie just the once and pregnant.. and a strong baby too

I was also using ov kits and saliva microscope and charting.. I then done the clearblue trial which was testing my ovulation.. I thought I was ovulating around cd 14/15 most months seems I was ov cd 10/11 and when I altered nookie to suit I was getting pregnant..

In December I lost baby and I said no more.. not ttc anymore..we felt relief and I was happy back at work.. I think the forgetting about ttc and focusing on my job and making plans to go abroad later in year helped.. because 2 weeks later I was pregnant.

Good luck all x

Thank you Serenjay :flower: I cant beleive you had so many losses AND in a short space of time :( that must of been sooo fustrating and upsetting, my heart goes out to you :hugs:

I've been trying to concieve for about a year and a half and I've always tried to have a ntnp attitude and in a way I've had to because using opks with pcos isnt reliable but thats ok as I feel it helps me not to become too obsessive with ttc and I feel the same with temping so I just try to bd regular enough throughout the whole of my cycle...at the start of ttc I did become a bit obsessed especially in the tww but as time went on I realised I was just stressing myself out and didnt like how that felt so the last 6 months or so I became a lot more relaxed to the point I hardly thought about ttc. Last month when I got my bfp I wasnt expecting to see it at all, I just tested randomly and there it was :cloud9: but 4days later the bleeding started so because of that happening I think it has thrown my relaxed attitude Lol BUT I'm feeling better today, I'm grateful I got my BFP and I'm hopeful it will happen again. Unfortunately I cant control when it happens but I can stop myself being miserable while I'm waiting. The thing I hate about getting obsessive is I end up not fully appreciating what I already have in life, and lifes to short to live like that :) so, I'll relax as much as I can, I'll learn to appreciate my experience and stay hopefull and happy ready for the next time I see that BFP

Congratulations to you on your current pregnancy, I hope it is a nice easy and enjoyable 9 months for you and your family :hugs:

I would also just like to apologise for my feeling sorry for myself rant yesterday, I hope I didnt come across as unsensitive to any ladies here that have been through much worse than I have...

Thanx again Serenjay :flower:
